Great review!!!! We use it for the softball fields and just saw the go today at a game. I was curious how it stacked up and you answered all the questions.
Thanks for pointing out that the top woofer handles the mids and mid lows. This explains why the upper bass boost on the speaker can be so overbearing. The soundboks 2 I believe doesn’t do this and that’s why you don’t have the excessive upper bass. Albeit at the expense of the mids.
Being from the US I hate when people put the only KG because I can't tell the difference in weight lol I think they said the u.s is the only country that uses lbs which is weird.
@@anthonyduncan5920 That goes for you two.. YT / internet is a world wide thing and so is the audience. Internationally the entire scientific world uses international standards. Time to step out of the medieval times and into the 21st Century.
SoundBoks blows it away. It would compare more to the party box 1000 which isn’t portable jbl 300 okay at 109 dbs about while the Gen 3 plays at about 126dbs both will sound good tho jbl also doesn’t have the removable battery… another sweet speaker that’s loud and may compare to the go is the Turtle Box it’s at 120dbs 10 pounds durable waterproof sounds good to me while the go is 121dbs durable not waterproof but has a removable battery.
How come no one directly compares the soundboks 3 and the Diomondboxx l3. Same price, similar weight and specs. I'm trying to decide between them but no one seems to have a perspective on both.
If you're looking for battery-detachable powered, portable, bluetooth performance speakers with tweeter horns that can leap the clear, crisp sound over and out, while also connecting to other speakers with SKAA technology, Soundboks is what you're looking for.
That ip rating is bs, mine got water damage for being out in the rain. When going through warranty they can't and won't fix it, so the gave me half my money back for a new one. Mine was a Go, and apparently the ip rating is only for the amplifier, like wtf how can a product have any ip rating om parts of it?
Good video. I have the Soundboks 3. And was thinking of getting the Go for the more portable option. I think the Soundboks speakers look more professional and are not as gimmicky as the JBL & Sony speakers. I think the Mackie Thump Go would be a good Soundboks Go comparison also.
Go to a store with your box, it actually fits in a max allowable suitcase you can travel with it and it’s the rump you can always have when needed when the party gets going
@@yogiballa I have 4 QSC K12's, 1 K8, 2 QSC K Subs, & 2 KW 18 Subs. I also have 2 Soundboks 3's & 1 Soundboks Go. Trust me the Soundboks speakers definitely compare to the QSC stuff. Their not as loud but loud. The quality is excellent also; since I am playing through a DJ mixer. The batteries last almost 5 hrs at full blast. The Go probably longer. Since I have 3 it probably last longer. Because I don't have to play at full volume. Also being able to put them on tripods like my QSC stuff. Makes a big difference if your party is full of people. Also not having to run wires and the wireless skaa has very little latency if you are Djing with them. To top it off you can tweak the sound with the app; while playing different songs. You don't have to physically touch the speaker. Let me see a Diamondboxx do that.😊😊
Seems like the go sounds canned. I've got 2 3s plus another in my business. Don't see where the go fits in the market. The 3 or now 4 does it all and is semi portable. I live in jersey (original one, not NJ) where there are medieval forts around the island, often used as venues for parties. Easy to lug down a cliff path and provide sound for the whole night on a single charge. All I can say is they're epic! Best sound quality of any big speakers I've used and it projects really well due to the massive bass port.
I've been looking for this comparison, thank you for doing it 🙌🏽

Congrats man👏
I’ve had the soundboks3 on the beach during a downpour it was amazing
Great comparison ❤️
Great video man🔥
Can you make a video comparing the soundboks 2 vs 3 ?
Great video
Can you make a video with the JBL partybox 1000 plzz
You should do the Gemini sosp -8 please do it
Can I stream music through skaa or just Bluetooth only.
Two outdoor speakers, but only indoor soundcheck? 😆
Can you put the weight also in kilograms in future videos? Love your channel.

9,2 kg for the go and 15 kg for the sb3
Ranta vitun maa! Meinasitko ostaa pikku bluetooth kajarin ja lähtä minkkijahtiin?
If you are online already, why is it so hard to ask a search engine to convert for you? 😳

Yo bro really love your videos
Could you make a video with jbl partybox 1000 vs jbl partybox 710?
Love your RUclips Channel ❤️
you added your battery died after 3 years. i've had my gen. 3 for over a year. is there some way for me to test how much battery life i have left?
U just gotta test how long it lasts
Good video, for you the SOUNBOOKS GO are better than the JBL Party Box 110
the horn of the SB3 is too close to the table surface, it makes it sound more nasal then it actually is, thanks for sharing
How about sound box 3 vs jbl 310 did you try them whos is better??

Nice but high price for a portable speaker
Can you do 2 soundboks go vs soundboks 3
Still more then just one soundboks 3

@@yogiballa I looked at it again after I made that comment. I re-edited my comment. Thanks.

Do they sound good when u are watching a movie ?
They cant play any deep bass, i havent heard them in person, but id say youd be better off even with a 150 bucks subwoofer
Thank you.

I had 2 of the 3's and didn't care for the sound especially for 2 grand
Bass just wasn't there
Have you found anything better?
