Pandit Kumar Gandharvaji had said the same thing. In his view, it is actually more difficult to get the perfect Sur, expression, feel, ras, bol and all the layakari in that short a time. Of course, he was also being modest as he has some fantastic lighter songs to his credit, which are pure classics (Runanubandhachya, malaygiricha, etc.)

Radhika ji is my college senior ( Faculty of Music and fine arts DU) I have met Lata Mangeshkar Ji in Delhi long time ago , when I was in my 1st yr of college, I happened to meet Lata Di(Goddess , MaaSaraswati)in one of the Emporiums on Baba Khadak Singh Marg New Delhi I was so lucky to have met her , talk to her and was able to touch her feet She blessed me and I was lucky to get her autogaph too
I don't have any words after watching this....but the one thing I say that .....these three ladies are my favourite after Lata ji ...not for only there music but also there nature the way they are talking politly..... I am the student of class 10 and I believe that " Lata ji jesa na koi tha na koi hai or aage na koi hoga "❤️

I really admired and got inspired by kaushiki ,the way she just sang sundarate dhyan and the music followed ,she never asked for the scale she wanted to sing in and then looked at the musician and smiled ,it is really the little little things that matter ,the respect and dignity they treat each other with,is really lots to learn from and this really touched me ,thankyou
I want say from great artists like Sunandaji Radhikaji and of course kaushikiji..are so down to earth firstly and because of being such great artists they know Ma Saraswatis music which is from the heaven,but nowadays there are singers who goes on singing Lata Mangeshkars songs without hesitation and it's realy not tolerable vulgurly dressed from the present generation.People are there who comments such as another night angel which puts us in dilemma to how dare these people do its degrading disgusting just intolerable.Anyways this programme was realy so beautiful.

I think there are so many self styled enlightened people in India and around the world. Lata-ji never claimed as if she's achieved anything but she says what she does is because of her parents' blessings. I'm no one to comment here, but the thing I realised that lataji is very much doubtless,clear about where to take her voice, very much straight forward, clarity of vission, no inhibition. She can portray the story of a song very nicely. Above all her sense of taking the microphone is something which makes her who she is, which others lack or they simply don't try that much , no doubt being great singers.

Excellent! All 3 singers are so good! I grew up in the same neighborhood of where Lataji rahati thi in Sangli and I was crazy after her songs. That time All India Radio had Marathi songs only 1 hour per day at 9:00am. I used to sit, learn and used to go sing it to some friends immediately. I have learned more from famous singers including Gaansaraswati Kishori Amonkar. Appreciate all the three singers for showing me the beauty of Lataji's singing. To me, in addition to what she sings, it is also importantant to understand how she avoids "Unnecessary embelishments" and achives the emotional effect.

She is also the one legend Mageshkor woman who has thousands of memories what we can get a change to hear from her....Often she had share her memories in Indian Idol or in Saregamapa show.....thanks to India Music Summit for making this session......

Even though Lataji has sung mostly film songs she has always said she wanted to become a classical singer. It was her one of the unfulfilled wishes. If her father didn't die so early she would've become one. Mangeshkar family has strong classical base.

" Would you , in a temple, sit/stand side-by- side the God's Idol ? Or would you sit/stand in front of the Idol? " No, I will not sit/stand side-by- side the Idol. I will sit/stand in front of the Idol. " I replied. " So, you should not sing with Lataji " my daughter told me.

Excellent! All 3 singers are so good! I grew up in the same neighborhood of where Lataji rahati thi in Sangli and I was crazy after her songs. That time All India Radio had Marathi songs only 1 hour per day at 9:00am. I used to sit, learn and used to go sing it to some friends immediately. I have learned more from famous singers including Gaansaraswati Kishori Amonkar. Appreciate all the three singers for showing me the beauty of Lataji's singing. To me, in addition to what she sings, it is also importantant to understand how she avoids "Unnecessary embelishments" and achives the emotional effect.

It’s amazing amezing session, these three ladies are unbelievable singer....Lata Mageshkor was not a singer,was self the music,,,,I will be very blessed if this organisation make a session with Asha Bhosle.. She is also the one legend Mageshkor woman who has thousands of memories what we can get a change to hear from her....Often she had share her memories in Indian Idol or in Saregamapa show.....thanks to India Music Summit for making this session......
Fully and completely agreed. Ashaji is as good and equivalent to Lataji (though Lataji does have a slight edge). The second Saraswati Maa of the music world is still with us all.

Even though Lataji has sung mostly film songs she has always said she wanted to become a classical singer. It was her one of the unfulfilled wishes. If her father didn't die so early she would've become one. Mangeshkar family has strong classical base.
