I bought some of the larger harbor freight boxes. I used dividers that came with them.Cut some plastic shelves and hot glued in place ,with foam front and back. Works great

Thanks Dave for another great video. I only travel short distances in a car and use empty plastic ice cream tubs. One with tools, oil, grease etc. and others with my cars in bubble wrap. They are light, relatively strong and very cheap and easy to find.

I'm digging the Fantasy World sticker. I went the Plano 137401 tackle box route. Small footprint which is helpful at home tracks with minimal pit space. I replaced two of the plastic compartmentalized tackle inserts with foamcore car shelves. Holds 12 cars, my controller, spare parts and fluids.

Thank you for your response to my question! I asked this question again to one of the Facebook slot car groups and a few guys suggested a “Dwalt tstak 17804” but that still looks much to big for my needs. I’ll have a look at J-car and see if they have a box like the small one you showed at the end there.

Great content. Would love to know what tools do you take with you in a box.

I carry two slot car boxes to the track with tools and controllers in bags. I work on my slot cars at the track and that is why I carry so much equipment.

I have a Dengler Drag box on order but I notice most guys use Crown Royal bags to protect their cars

My Scalextric Ginette Set controllers have a %max speed adjuster slider on each controller.

We built a slot car box for a friend on our channel recently (you can check it out if you'd like). Since building it, we've received several requests to build more, but I've declined because it's not very cost effective to build one-off by hand. Do you think there would be any interest in pre-cut (cnc) kits? (Like a flat pack of parts to be assembled by the end user.?) I've been kicking the idea around, but didn't know if there's enough audience for something like that. Curious what you think...

Seems any soft shell is risky. Be good to see advice re how you travel. Assuming we can fly again soon how do you pack for Europe w cameras and slot cars

I don't belong to a club, I wish we had one closer I always wanted a box like the first one, but I'm sort of a cheapskate, I use a bigger Rubbermaid type tote to carry all my stuff around.

dunno if anyone cares but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new series on Instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my brother for the last couple of weeks xD
