So informative! I just had my first race and this video is most helpful.
Thank you for watching. Hope your first race went well 🤞.
Hello, was wondering what you use for tire dressing? Are you using 1/24 scale at your track? Can I make a homemade tire traction compound? Wish you a happy new year, enjoy your videos ,thanks.
Hi John. That is a great question. For tire traction with sponge tires the most common tire dressing is Koford Medium Tire traction M320
Check out their catalogue here:

I did film a little bit more to this video which I will release soon which shows a simple tire conditioner that you will probably have at home, but you will have to wait till that video is released 😉.
Hello
I thought I was neat and organized lol!! Question where did you get your slot car box or did you make it?
Hi Nathaniel. Thanks for watching. I built the slot car box myself. The size is based on the maximum hand luggage size for the popular budget airlines (Ryanair and EasyJet). I plan to do a video on “organising your slot box”
I am in the process of making more slot boxes to an updated design and will feature them on my channel when I have finished.
Also wanted to ask what motors are you using and what rpm do they spin
The motor in the video is a C-Can motor with a Group12 armature. It does around 85K rpm at 5V. You would not want to let it spin freely at 12V because it would explode!
Nice box, can you tell me what kind it is. I 'm handicap and need a lite box for my wife.

If you want a really light slot car box then you could try looking at “dog grooming” boxes or try to find a seller of “poly butler” boxes
Hi Dante. I have also sent you a DM from CleaveTech 👍🏻
@@CleaveTech What is a DM and where to I go to get it?
Hi Dante. A DM is a direct message. I sent you a message via Facebook messenger in response to your question 👍🏻 I noticed you hadn’t seen it yet.
@@CleaveTech I just read it, thanks
What is, I think you called it, Blue Tack?
Blu Tack is like a putty that is commonly used in the home to stick posters and pictures to walls.
