Great video Ava. I don’t know if you know this but just in case you don’t, you can claim for any health expenses, including consultant fees, as part of you annual income tax return and get a refund if about 20%.
In this video and in previous videos you mention high BG during the evening and night. Have you ever found a reason? I’m now 7 months into my T1D journey, on MDI, not ready yet to consider a pump, but follow your transition with interest . No matter what I eat, have early dinners or excersise, my BG rises high just before going to bed. Starting to think it is a hormonal thing.
I have never actually found a reason, so it might be something hormonal like you say. Honestly I have had this issue for most of my diagnosed life. I've only had a CGM since 2019 which is how I actually started to see the rise at night. I'm assuming I had this all along but didn't have the tech to see it. Take your time, plenty to consider when getting a pump. For me I still get the rise at night, the difference is the pump takes care of it now as soon as I start to rise, which stops me from rising super high and also lets me sleep!
I love your videos!! 😊
Thank you!!
Keep going with the videos ❤
