RoboCop: Rogue City is a pitch-perfect throwback to the action movies of the ‘80s. It’s over-the-top violence with charm, largely well put together but rough on the edges. Most importantly, it's a fun way to spend time in a beloved fictional universe that doesn’t overstay its welcome. Blasting at goons as an unstoppable walking machine remains as extremely entertaining as it seemed on the big screen, thanks in part to an impressive commitment to capturing the look and feel of the original film. Mixing in elements like routine police work and side quests does a great job changing the pace, too. Even if it’s not the best example of visual fidelity, and prone to some bugs along the way, that love of RoboCop shines through. This is a solid B movie of a video game, which is exactly what the source material demands.

Really makes you feel like buying that for a dollar. These devs deserve care. They did way better with the source material than Disney or reboots. They deserve to be praised for their care and work. For Robocop and Terminator games.

Oh yes, for sure, the "tank" feeling on the combat would fit right in.
There is a mod coming that will allow all Unreal Engine games to be played in VR

Tried the demo. This game brought back the true role playing essence of role playing games of the 90s with excellent cohesive storytelling. This shows you don't need to be a AAA game with diluted, cheesy narratives, or a microtransactions fuelled multiplayer experience to deliver.

To me this hame felt like a triple a title. Graphics are some the best I’ve seen on my ps5
This game needs microtransactions, there’s currently no built-in way for me to support the devs; I’ve ran into my share of greedy developers - but these developers are teaching me greediness

They devs made Terminator Resistance before this game, which is also fantastic.

NPCs may look stiff, but Robocop himself was stiff in the movies. I`d say they nailed his character perfectly

It would be great if these developers could carve out a little niche in the market by developing games based on classic/cult action movies. Hopefully they could have another crack at Rambo too.

This game ripped off Terminator Resistance DLC The Infiltrator. Same walking noises, same breach mechanic, throwing enemies is the same.

It's so refreshing to see a single player game where you just fight bad humans not some zombies or mythical creatures.

The level of detail in this game is next level if you shoot the nukem game boxes the cards fly out and land on the floor. The spray paint cans spray out when shot and spray all over the surrounding area. The sound is spot on as well, it just makes you feel like robocop like you are in the film! that to me is way better than any AAA game. I'm sure the deva also have a few patches to come out and fingers crossed for DLC

Really looking forward to playing this. What a year for great games, even if this isn’t considered to be among the very best of the year, it still looks like a tonne of fun, especially for fans of the 80’s classic film. This looks like it was made by genuine fans of Robocop and not just a cheap cash grab, so yeah the 80’s kid in me is very excited for this. Spiderman 2 will have to wait.
You’re going to have to remind me what these “great” games are. Because they have all been lazy and mediocre

Demo was great. Buying the full game tomorrow for PC. Younger folks may need to go watch the original movie to get it.
I’m 24 and have seen all 3. Those movies are classics.
The film aged very well even for todays standard, way more heart then marvel slop.

This is one of the greatest “fan service” games of all time! Fantastic game in general. The end battle was epic. Smile from ear to ear.

Literally the farthest thing from a masterpiece. Graphics are ps2 quality, gameplay is clunky and boring asf. 5 out of 10.
Does it make sense to give so many compliments to a game and give it a 7? I understand that 7 is a Recommended, but it basically says that AA games should never get a higher rate

Dont see why a 7 is unreasonable though. if 5 is average, 7 is above average which seems to be how he feels about it
after Rambo the video game, Teyon has shown that the budget is their only limitation, their love and care for these classic IPs are endless
really hope they get a massive budget for the sequel or their new projects (please be Dredd, Predator, Aliens,...)

I'd be careful of this wish. Even with the best intentions, larger budget and scope very often equals "more problems". Cases like with Larian and BG3 are very much the exception.

Very glad to see this looks like it turned out! Had me so worried during the preview phase but it seems like they finished building it just before the plane landed.
Eh, sort of, I'm loving my time with it, but there is collision issues, sometimes you can throw an enemy and knock another down, others they phase through, same with the environment, sometimes they hit walls hard, others they just disappear through it, could it be patched? Possibly, but will it and will it ruin your enjoyment. It only slightly did mine

This game looks more like a Bethesda game than some actual Bethesda titles. Even matches Starfield's 7/10.

This looks great but the best Robocop game ever is undoubtedly the old school 2d arcade/coin up that was hard as nails but phenomenal for its time. Only the real old school gamers will remember.

This needs New Game Plus!!!! Like seriously! That and an Arcade mode, with just the action bits would be so welcome. One of the best FPS's I've played this year. And absolutely nails everything about the first film and it's themes.
Having fun with this so far...just stuck with a bug with the old man mission when a guard stuck in the ground and you cant pass lol.
Sound design is gold in this. It wouldn't be as fun If we couldn't hear those footsteps.
Looking forward to this. Kind of reminds me of Terminator Resistance, because the devs were clearly fans of the source material and wanted to do justice to the franchise same as the devs of Rogue City.
They are the same company, they also made a Rambo game which was a very big flop, but the Terminator game was dope af

Wished they gave us a 3th person perspective option, isnt this game about seeing Robocop? It's like buying a collectors figure you can look at and not buying a helmet. Give fans both options.

These devs are the real deal. Its such a claim to fame that the same studio has done right by 2 iconic franchises - terminator and robocop.
It makes all the difference when the device care about the product and source material... if only other studios did the same. Bravo to them, it's a great game and they should be proud.

These guy's should do a game based on the Dredd movie with Karl Urban.
Only thing missing is when you kill the enemies they need to have the wilhiem scream.

Game is so much fun and the story and dialogue is actually pretty decent.
any other game with those dialogues and npc stiffness would get crucified, keep the same energy.

The Game was awesome and One of the Best games since the last 4 years
Performance mode in the options menu on xbox haven't had one crash. No face freezing or anything else for that matter besides a few frame rate drops here and there but barely noticeable.
This looks amazing. Is it supposed to be after the 1st movie or just a different story all together?
It’s set between RoboCop 2 and 3.
The model looks off though, he looks too small, and for some reason the model does not have his iconic metal pearl shine.

Rogue City has stood the test of time, as in all 48 hours of it. A real classic!

Exactly! This what me and others that have played the game are saying. Cutscenes and some performance could be better, other then that the game works as it should. Easily 8 as a game in itself, and a 9-10 if you really like Robocop
