we gotta bring this energy back
this is something Indiana Jones would have loved!
“Tonight on Tucker, we sit down with a proud, outspoken American who was run off a bridge by violent, left wing ex-cons.”
He said it was the socialist party... so more likely would have ended up on CNN complaining about how some crazed proud boys disrupted their mostly peaceful protest.
Tucker is the most middle of the road conservative I can think of lol of all the people to take a swing at you choose him.
Richard Metclaf trueee lmaooo
@@wookielaney5971 "they say that they are socialist so they must be socialist"
@@wookielaney5971 That's . . . that's not how anything works.
Stand back and stand by...lol
One of the best scenes in the movie 😺😆🍻😎
I love the sound of the secondaries opening at 2:02!
Who could have known that this film would predict qanon
Is this that "apolitical cinema of old" I keep hearing about
the blues brothers is my husband and mine favorite movie of all time. We have watched it of times. the best was the extended version on VH1, with POP-UP VIDEO. reading all the movie facts while you watch it is a blast. blues brothers rule
One of the finest scenes in the history of movies.
The Bluesmobile's license plate (BDR 529) is a nod to a Canadian motorcycle club Danny Aykroyd is familiar with: The Black Diamond Riders, headquartered at 529 Jarvis Street.
Definitely Miami Vice
ILLINOIS
BDR 529
Dragonborn: Skyrim Thalmor
Lydia: (scoffs) I hate Skyrim Thalmor
Fox news would be talking about how the blue brothers were wrong.
Lol true
You do realize Fox panders to Zionism, right? They screech about "antisemitism" all the time.
Why? It's MSNBC who are closer aligned to National Socialism
@@HornetsNestRebel you do realize Israel is itself a fascist nation and they're for Israel to "civilize" the middle east cuz they're "more white" than Arab nations in their eyes?
Stupid comment.
Man, you could put ANYTHING in a movie in the 80s, huh?
You still can I just watched some F'd up movies on pure flix
@@mastermonarch pureflix are amazing films but not for the reasons the creators or the studio intended lmao
1979
I did nazi that coming
Ok, I will admit, that one made me laugh.
***** i guess you can call this joke HITLARIOUS
Neither did they!
www.instantrimshot.com
Well played.
Me, too. And I *did* take time out of my day to read your completely unnecessarily long username. And it was curiously worth it.
This scene is much more relevant due to the protesters in Illinois right now
You mean the riots, looting, vandalism, arson, and murder sprees!!
@@sunglassshinpan1352 Bluesmobile eyeing you
Henry was a very talented man...he was great in this, in "Charlotte's Web", in 1975's "Nashville" and in "Switching Channels."
We need Jake and Elwood more than ever in these times. 😂
“WELL? WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT, WHITEY?!” 😂😂😂
@sillystriderrupsabatabyalf7112 Yes, because Hitler totally didn't cowardly crawl into a bunker and die
That line always kills me. Henry Gibson really punches that line with that cold monotone delivery.
....CLASSIC!!!
First time I saw this I was like: “Wait, what?“
Especially since I've seen the movie in a German cinema...
I need to know more about this... like did they have to edit out the swastikas and stuff?
@@Gordanovich02 late reply but they dont do it for movies because movies are accepted as an artform. Only time swastika or anything gets censored is in games and some comics.
This never gets old.
The only time in the movie where the police never chase the Bluesmobile.
Playing Shadowrun: Dragonfall, and I found a Humanis (think Aryan Brotherhood) flier claiming that "the elf is using the ork and the troll as muscle against you" ("you" being humans). Immediately remembered this scene.
Only thing missing from this scene is the idea that your character could’ve said “I hate Berlin Humanis.”
WE NEED THEM NOW MORE THAN EVER
I wish this weren't still so relevant today.
2:06 shoutout to that guy who attempted a backflip while rolling off
God I love the sound of that 440
at 2:00 you can really hear those secondaries open up lol
We need the Blues Brothers today#
Everyone here is talking about how this is a trump rally, and i'm just sitting hear listing to that 440 scream.
ha awesome^
And me
Bobby Marshall I love how he doesn't use his horn but the secondaries haha love that big block growl
Bobby Marshall love them mopars
And, it was made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
Henry should have released an album of bedtime stories and lullabies...he had such a gentle soft voice and he was a fine singer.😊
I love how they held their ground until those secondaries cracked open.
My family & I have been laughing about that line, "well, whatta ya gonna do about it, whitey" since this movie came out! We always say it, even though we're white. It's just funny!
