      @@jesserusinski7972 it was called the Chez Paul. I live right around the corner from the building. It was also featured in Ferris Buellers Day Off. it was a famous fancy French restaurant that was around a while but really had its pop culture heyday in the mid/late 70s-early 80s.

      @@vegaslimoguy2376 Chez Quis is not a real restaurant. The restaurant in the movie was clearly supposed to be the Chez Paul, which was a real, world famous at the time, ultra fancy Chicago restaurant. I understand it wasn’t actually filmed there.

    I saw the Blues Brothers in concert in 1981 at the long beach arena. They opened up for Steve Martin.

      We used to have ferrets and when my Mum would pick up one of the girl ferrets, She would always quote that line,
      It used to annoy the shit out of me, but now her and the ferrets are all gone, and I am not exerating in the slightest when I would give anything to hear her say it one more time.

    This movie was released in Australia in 1980 , I saw it then and laughed my arse off, I'm 72 and still laughing my arse off, that's how funny this movie was hilarious.

      Have you seen Crossroads where Ackroyd played Britney Spears' dad? Great movie, it was Britney's only movie, a shame because she is a really good actress. Kim Cattrall had a small part where she played Britney's cold mother. Heartbreaking scene.

    I remember in NYC, i just met some guys an hour before, we got along so great we decided to get some food, they picked the hard rock, they saw the line outside and decided to skip it, i followed them inside and they spot a small bar table. We sit ourselves and the waiter bc if the rush, did a double take then just decided to take our order we were in and out in 30 minutes. Best time i had woth strangers

    I have a file called favourite movie moments. I have virtually the whole Blues Brothers movie in it in segments! I often wondered if there was a sing along version where the words of the song are displayed like karaoke. We could dress up for the occasion. No other musical makes me want to do that. A once in a lifetime movie. And so many one liners: "I want to buy your daughters "😅😅😅😅
