Bathtub Refinishing in Dallas Texas

The bathtub and tile had been painted with aliphatic acrylic urethane just months before. I tried to save the customer from having to refinish the tile surround but the paint was peeling with a plastic spatula. I reversed the rust caused by condensation sitting under the paint on the tub. Then used an epoxy mixture of silane coupling agent to create a chemical bond on the tub and tile. After this step a 100% polyester was applied followed by a Flouropolymer finish coat. A light slip resistant resin was applied to the bathtub floor. This will be ready to use in 24 hours! Residual odor dissipates in about an hour! So no lingering odors for days or weeks like with standard epoxy and acrylic urethane paints. This is not the cheapest bathtub, tile refinishing process but it is a far superior to standard epoxy and aliphatic acrylic urethane paint bathtub, tile refinishing.
