Diamondback Rohloff build

The primary purpose of this video is to demonstrate a few things the owner will need to know about his new components. This demo would be done in person in normal times, but due to the pandemic lockdown, this is the best option.

Incredible components in that build! I've thought about doing something similar centered around a Sturmey-Archer five speed.

I saw your videos on how the pinion works and how the Rohloff works. Were you ever able to get your hands on a pinion? Is your choosing a Rohloff for this build an indication that you think the rolloff is the superior gearbox?

It wasn't my choice, but rather the guy I built it for. The Pinion is not an option for an aftermarket retrofit in any case.
And no, I have not got my hands on a Pinion.
