It’s great to see your passion for Lilium! 🚁 They are definitely a strong player in the eVTOL space with their innovative approach. However, the eVTOL industry is full of incredible startups like Joby, Archer, and others who are making significant advancements as well. Each of these companies brings something unique to the table, and together they’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in urban air mobility. Let’s watch closely as all of them contribute to shaping the future of aviation!
@@Discover.Aviation You're sadly confused. Joby has proven their design is just a helicopter with too many rotary blades and already crashed their vehicle. Even worse, they want to add in hydrogen so that when it crashes next time, it will effectively become a high explosive bomb. When I said no other startup can hold a candle to them, it's because the premise is founded in reality that somehow hasn't found it's way through your skull.
Seems like Lilium really is on fire as in (, once again) burning to the ground not just burning cash , going bankrupt before even getting off the ground ( at full scale man carrying ) They had one catch fire way back in case anyone forgot.
Thanks for your comment! 🙌 I agree, Lilium's speed and range are big advantages. If they can keep it affordable, it could definitely be a game changer! 🚁
@@Discover.Aviationthere isn't a lilium. They haven't built it so there is no telling the performance or even if it will be able to lift itself at full scale
Not quite comparable. Volocopter is ideal for short city trips with several stops, while Lilium is more suitable for longer routes and connections between cities and airports
Great point! Volocopter and Lilium are definitely targeting different use cases-Volocopter shines for short, urban hops, while Lilium is focused on longer, inter-city routes. It’ll be interesting to see how these two approaches shape the future of air mobility. Which use case do you think has more potential?
@@Discover.Aviation Both of them. But in the initial period, I think the lilium has an advantage because it does most of its flights outside of congested areas, unlike the Velocopter which only flies in urban environments. It is a matter of safety in case of accidents. Precise and detailed flight protocols must be drawn up with well-defined routes and behavior between participants. In the case of heavy air traffic, flying at different altitudes is much more demanding than driving on the road.
@fxsignal1830 Great question! 🚁 Both companies are pushing for advanced autonomous tech, but with Lilium nearing bankruptcy, Volocopter might have the upper hand in this rivalry. Stay tuned for more updates! 😊
In such a new and competitive market, survival could be key. But with the technology and partnerships both Lilium and Volocopter have, it’s more about who can scale first and adapt. Who do you think is better positioned to succeed long-term?
@EarthCreature. you are projecting. I've been right the whole time. Lilium still hasn't even made a full sized craft and can't because the ducted fans will not even be able to lift itself. That's why they will always postpone their first flight of the full scale craft. They will be delisted and go out of buisness first.
@volkankonur Lilium is certainly an impressive eVTOL with its innovative electric jet propulsion system and focus on long-range flights. Its sleek design and range make it stand out in many ways. That said, Volocopter also brings some strong advantages, especially with its focus on safety and urban integration, making it ideal for short urban commutes. Each has its strengths, so it’ll be exciting to see how both of these companies shape the future of urban air mobility!
Lilium is the only eVTOL leader & no other startup can hold a candle to it

What is innovative with the volocopter design? Isn't it extreme simple just to make a copter with redundant props?
