☆The most logical sequence for learning KATAKANA (カタカナ)
★Fun and memorable mnemonics
☆Stroke orders for each character
★Basic vocabulary that puts the hiragana into action as soon as you learn it
☆Covers all characters including the dots (tenten) and the small ャュョ and ッ.
We have developed a system that will take the pain out of learning hiragana. This system does not rely on rote repetition like many other systems advocate.
Instead it injects some fun into the process, using visualisation and fun imagination techniques.
We are also going to learn hiragana in the most logical sequence possible - which is not how most courses teach it - in order to speed up our acquisition and retention of the material.
CORRECTION
- Oops. "Ohana" meant "family" not "friends" in Hawaiian lol
It's been a long time since I watched "Stitch".
Also I wrote "folk" but I meant "fork" for "フォーク".

Japanese think English is cool and English speakers think Japanese sounds cool
But everyone struggles with kanji
@@TuningAnApple Yeah it'd be easier to learn kanji if u had a foundation for mandarin or cantonese
@@patootie3529 you mean kanji
@@cheesywiz9443 Wtf. I typed kanji lol. Guess my phone auto corrected it somehow
and I think it's sounds like "Courtney Barnett - Avant Gardener".
Misa-san, ohana doesn't means ともだち(friend), it means かぞく(family). And family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten!
awwwwww
well looks like I'll just leave behind and forget my friends
I had to go through the movie script to see if this was true and he got me

The way you described " Nu" was hilarious. I had to give a like for that.
Ya ikr I laughed in that part too just imagine that lmao
The amount of work you put into your channel is amazing! You deserve a billion subscribers!
Misa is very sincere and industrious She has strong commitment to the task of teaching people Japanese. She is a very beautiful person overall.
A billion?! That’s a stretch that would be more than pewdiepie he puts SOO much work on his channel
Amazing! The way you teach by making associations is so cool, I could memorize the characters way better on this 19 min video than on my 4 hours class...
I had to pause a lot because I was laughing so hard

Its weird because half of the time は sounds like wa, because.its used as a particle. Japamese is weird lol
Perfect timing for me too. Almost memorized Hiragana, looking for Katakana stuff. This is great. By the way, Chihuahua is actually a state and town in Mexico which is why it's spelled crazy. Dog is named after the Mexican place. Thank you. Arigato!
I didn't know about the Mexican place! :o You taught me something too! Thanks ^^

Thank you so much, Misa!
It's surprisingly hard to find a proper run down of how to learn Katakana on the internet, and this is really helpful.
I just ran into this channel for the first time, and I hope to use your other videos in the same way!
This is absurdly well organized with a lot of information to help bring previous knowledge together. It makes memorizing so much easier so thank you!
みさのビーデオをほんとにありがとです。Before watching Misa's videos I could say that... but now I can write it... ほんとにしあわせです。
Impressed with your creativity! You didn’t just make another kana video like all the others, you re-imagined how to talk about it. Domo!!!
Wow this is extremelly helpful. Thank you so much, I've been really struggling to learn Katakana by myself but with these videos it's pretty easy
Love how you have us apply the katakana we're learning to translate during the video. Definitely useful! Thank you!
Well 先生 you are leading me by the hand again into the new land. I have watched your Hiragana video so often it is starting to sink in and now I am starting on Katakana. For some of us what you do is life changing so thanks again for this beautiful journey. :-)
I'm laughing because 先生 (xiansheng) in chinese means Mr. 😂😂 I was confused until I read it in kanji and was like "ooh right"

Thank you. I am learning Japanese as well. You explain it quite well in learning Katakana. From:Min Lin. Canada.BC.Bby 2020.06.24.
Thank you for this. I lived in Tachikawa 3.5years ago. Katakana was always my weak point.
ok now that was useful !
Thank you.
Thank you 💜
I like Japanesy sounding words!!
This is extremely helpful! Katakana characters look way too alike to me.
Hi Misa - Great fun and very very helpful for learning Katakana. Just one little tip for you - when you refer to 'tenten' it is "Two little dashes" and not "Two little dots" ありがとございうます
ケ does look like a 'K(e)' but it's a stretch for me to associate ク and タ with it. For example I remember メ and ヌ because of the word 'menu'. The character for 'nu' is just 'me' with an extra horizontal line.
NUddle, lol I'll never forget that Katakana, tyvm!
Hello Misa! We will share all your videos for learning Kana on our Kanjivor Facebook page and our Kickstarter news.
Since we use a similare method for making people learn Kanji easily and very quickly, we know how great you did and how efficient is the way you teach it ;)
Awesome! Thank you :)
I learnt Hiragana and I still have not learnt Katakana. Perfect timing.
Arigató
ありがとう!
Thanks, you save my poor Japanese. I can't still remember the characters of katakana and hitakana together, even though I had several times revisions on it.
I think the relation of 'メ' to Ruroni Kenshin's eye scar will help me a lot to remember that character!
ありがとう ございます
The moment she made the Kenshin reference. I’m all about this channel.
you don't have idea how i adore u (≧∇≦) you are incredible. thank u so much
I finally finished Hiragana :D
(Chihuahua is actually a native Mexican word-not English ) Love this vid, thanks Misa!
I made up the mnemonic of "o" being a diagonal helicopter flying "o"ver the "o"cean and "ha" being a laughing emoji with just the teary eyes
thanks thanks thank you domo arigato gozaimasu thanks thanks thank you a lot for this :)
These videos are amazing. Keep it up! By the way, a small mistake in this video is your spelling of "fork" which you spelled with an l instead of an r. Easy mistake to make in Japanese!

the "I no longer gorgeous at home" reminded me of the south park ninja intro that went "'LET'S FIGHTING LOVE!" does anyone else remember that? xD
your english accent so cute
Oh my gosh.... xD Nu was hilarious
I like to play around and add random Japanese syllables to English words because they always do it in anime
