Hey Ste! yeah! its been quite such a long time. Thanks for the kind words. Will try to put up some more vids as I can but thanks for sticking around, I really appreciate it a lot
It's so nice seeing him put out vids again. It's always genuine and nice to see some classic hardware fixed up. Idk, it's calming to watch. If I had the space, I'd love to get a board and cabinet some day.
I knew I couldnt let the sender pay for shipping especially after being so generous so I covered that part. Even though the Yen is extremely weak, I wanted to pay for shipping cost so I sent him the money for it. Shipping from Japan is crazy and to receive this package, including VAT, the cost was 30,000 yen which is around $200.
I've been watching your videos since high school, I think. You're such a calm guy and the atmosphere you have in your videos just makes the world feel so relaxed for it's duration. Glad to see you're still around!
Thanks for all the great comments, I really appreciate it. Not so many vids here recently but I'm honored to see everyone who has stuck on to check them out! On a sidenote here, I have to apologize for the sound at 13:30, make sure to turn down your speakers! thanks to @mercuryvapoury for pointing that out. Ill try to put up some more videos here......soon...
ah, five words I have not heard in a good long while!! YIKES that Lethal Enforcers is gonna need some work. Looking forward to seeing updates on these!
Haha, Thanks as always my friend. Yeah, I havent said that phrase in a while. Definitely need to see what I can do with these boards. Hoping to be able to fix most of them if I can!
Definitely! Trying to reduce the amount of e-waste while being able to play some classics at the same time! thanks for stopping by and watching as well!
Its pretty crazy but a lot of the Hardoff shops are moving their business online and they have been jacking the prices up a lot! The deals may still be up there but not nearly as much as before.
That's some really cool stuff! Very generous. And yeah, SO clean! I bet that's an absolute treat to work with compared to the usual swampy things you have to completely rebuild!
Larry! man, its been a really, really long time. Always great to hear from you and thanks for the kind words. I really hope that things on your end are going smoothly as well.
Hey David! really good to hear from you too! I havent been on here as much as I used to but glad to see you are still here! We're surviving and I hope things are going well for you too man!
Yeah, its been a while. Plenty of other channels out there putting out much better content but I thought I would put this out there. Thanks for the continued support!
I have a Golden Tee 2000 that does that same exct thing. I'm going to use your repair video (once you post it) to troubleshoot my board. Please make sure to go over everything in great detail... lol!
Haha! yeah, Im looking over the board and so far there are a few areas that could be the problem. One of those is located by the battery holder. Eaten traces to the right of that and down to the connecting IC.
Luke, where on earth do you store all this hardware LOL. Thanks so much for putting out some videos! It's fantastic to watch the unboxing/repair videos. Not many people do awesome real videos like this anymore. Like talking a walk through a museum of cool stuff.
Hey hey Edgar! yeah, long time for sure. Doing ok here but now I've got a few boards to try to get going so we shall see. I hope things are good on your end as well and thanks for stopping by!
Oddly enough I was thinking about your channel the other day and wondered if you decided to call it quits and now all of a sudden we have a new video. Thanks
Yeah, I havent called it quits but there are a lot of other people out there putting up much better content so not so much here to add. Just doing the vids when Im up for it. Thanks
@lukemorse1 I definitely wouldn't say that they are putting up "much better content." it's different, but I do like your style of videos and enjoy them. Hopefully, RUclips hasn't burnt you out too much, but we do miss your content!
OEH NICE!! I have 2 tekken boards (system 12??) they don't do anything and I have to look into it so if you start your repair pehaps you can give me (I mean us) some pointers of where to start such repair ;) great man can't wait for those videos
Ive found that some of these boards have problems with the legs on the qfp's lifting off the board. sometimes reflow works but the surface mounted components seem to be the issue. Thanks Eddie!
Do you have can you do a video in the future on just the basics of how you know how to connect / make the wiring harness, how you setup your "lab"? A behind the scenes would be super cool. Sorry if I missed that video.
It's been ages since these great videos, glad to see you back.

Overdue comeback, nice to see it's what your channel does best!
Repairs that is
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that a lot. Will try to do what I can here!
Nice stuff, waiting for some new repair Videos same as old Time.
Lol, same rough camera angles and Blair Witch style, you got it!
Man seeing luke open a package takes me way back.
Opening a box sent by someone always takes me back as well lol. Lot of nostalgia for the both of us :) thanks for watching these little snippets
Very nice of the sender, especially since they paid shipping costs too. IDK about Japan, but shipping in US has become very expensive.

I'm excited to try to get them going again! thanks a lot!
That's some really cool stuff! Very generous. And yeah, SO clean! I bet that's an absolute treat to work with compared to the usual swampy things you have to completely rebuild!
HAHA! right! yeah definitely generous and much easier to tell the difference between a trace on a board and a clump of corrosion lol
Welcome back Mr Morse, we've missed ya buddy! :)
Larry! man, its been a really, really long time. Always great to hear from you and thanks for the kind words. I really hope that things on your end are going smoothly as well.
