- Filmed over a 3 day period and put together in career order, this is an hour long documentary on the former British and European Light middle weight champion Jamie Moore.
Continually learning within the field of 'Directing', Dale Hooker put together a small crew in order to capture his first high end documentary feature with zero budget, yet 100% heart.
( Jamie 'Mooresy' Moore, arguably one of the best British Boxers not to have fought for a world title, sadly had to leave his career behind in 2010 when the reality of his injuries became more apparent to himself and his family.
One year on, Jamie is still highly involved in the sport of boxing, and although never stepping foot in the ring became concrete on the day of his testimonial, his career can be relived once again in the form of his own documentary, The Fighters Fighter.
The story is one not to be missed as friends and family including nutrition guru Kerry Kayes and good friend Ricky Hatton, talk through Jamie's career in order to shed light on some of the most exciting, toe to toe wars ever to have happened inside a ring. )
Produced, Directed and Edited by Dale Hooker

Kerry is one of the nicest guys I've ever met, even if youre a nobody Kerry Kayes will stop and talk to you, I respect that !
Real warrior top bloke. Some fighters you admire their skill, but this guy you have to respect his character. Wise decisions are seldom spectacular...and I guess that's the hard bit, but the fruits of wisdom are sweet. Impressive life, no regrets there. I wish him well. Counselor Mozz.
Great Fighter, wish him well in everything he does.
Excellent boxer, fights like Gervonta Davis.. great documentary btw!
Awesome documentary!
Macklin and Moore two true hardmen of british pro boxing.

Jamie Moore was class to watch
True gamer warrior
Your uncle is one of the most modest and down to earth guys i have seriously ever met. I hope one day you come accross this read and know before today i did not know of him appoligies. That says alot about my irish skills on boxing lol🤫 Speaking today@my home and directed to this channel that doc has brought not only tears to my eyes but goose pimples up me watching. A mark of respect. He has a great insight into knowing what is right for him and his body. Be proud he is your uncle and shout it from the roof tops. Am proud just to have met him. Blessings 🇨🇮
Stunning
Great story/documentary, excellent production. Who was the female singer ? Shazam didn't recognise the song.. !
A TRUE HUMBLE WARRIOR
Is there a follow up to this story ? It's captured my heart
In many respects Jamie and Ryan Rhodes had similar. careers. Sheffield and Manchester both proud fighting cities....

My all time best English fighter a true warrior and a credit to the sport
Teamed up with frampton , always liked Moore could listen to him talk all day long about boxing . Can't wait for the jackals next fight in Belfast jamie will get his eyes opened lol

Jamie Moore.
Good good fighter..
Did it did it the hard way..
Jamie top top man.
what a warrior, heart of a lion well done jamie on a amazing career topman
Great entertainer and a sound geezer!
The photo at 3:10 is misleading.. because at the exact time it appears, the narrator states: _"Jamie starting boxing at _*_13_*_"_ ... however the Brazil top he's wearing in that picture was World Cup France '98.. which means he would have been at around *20* in that picture 😛
top guy. wish him all the best
lot of heart, this fella.
Only see this documentary and I can say that its a wise decision to step back and focus on his health and family... God bless you.
annalyn solinap you don’t no what the song is at the end do you it’s doing my head in
Totally honest, people can say what they like about Jamie but he always looked too thin around the waist on fight night he could of been a world champ if brought through right from the start, and if he was in middleweight nowadays(2015) he'd be a champ no doubt, I'm glad sky have got him... He does have a good analyst mind of the sport
, big guns and ups to Jams!!!!!!!
Moore v cotto would have been an brilliant fight
grime gage my 2 favourite fighters would have been an epic clash
Let’s be honest Cotto was a completely different level to Moore and I like Moore aswell
Great vid
Great story, sad he wasn't well known here in America.....

Paul Smith in the crowd looks like he’s just left primary school
Legend and a really sound bloke would have made it to world level but for circumstances
