A tip for you all - quite a few of theses audition samples tries to cover songs, movie and TV themes. They are altered slightly to avoid copyright issues. But they are great for a starting point if you're trying to cover the music as mentioned above. 👍
I apologize that I didn't see this question. It is a hard one to answer because I had both and sold both. BOTH have severe polyphony limitations that made them unusable for me. I ended up with a Nord Stage 4 compact, SL 88 Grand controller, Novation Summit, and Juno-X.
I dont understand, but some of the patches sound so bad, as if im listening to a cheap pair earbuds. And then some of them sound amazing and full. I feel like half of the patches would be pretty useless.
You are likely picking up on the weakness of the first Montage and Motif patches - the new ones, that sound best to ME, are the Montage M additions.. but frankly, this is not a SYNTH based synth. Yes the new synth engine is good - but it won't be great if you are going for Junoesque sounds.
@@benallen5967 yes I think you are right. The Motif XF patches and some original montage patches do sound thin and lifeless. And yes I agree the new ANX engine is a very sweet sounding synth by itself. But yeah, I guess my point was, if someone were to spend this much money on a stand-alone synth, then they'd be a little disheartened. But thanks for doing these demos, it must have taken a lot of time. Cheers!
Thank you very much.... for your patience and your professionalism....

Nice video thanks for the patience for doing that. Ben, would you rather go with the Fantom or de Yamaha Montage M, if you`d have to choose?
