Everything about this is wonderful ! The light, the costumes, the music, the mood ! I wish it was a trailer for a real movie, the story of a strange hotel and a girl who travels in time. I sincerely would watch 3 hours of this. You did a beautiful job, as always.

I love how 1932 walks in on 1980s, looks in horror, then promptly walks out.
As much I would like this book to be translated into English (Karolina even more probably) so all of you people outside of Poland could read it too (IT'S AMAZING), you must understand it's really hard to have a foreign book, especially from Eastern & Central Europe to get translated into English. The book would have to be some smash international hit (which I wish for this book to be) otherwise the publishing companies from the rest of the world (majorly "The English Speaking" world) wouldn't even care, that's the sad truth. Even if Karolina wanted to do it herself, she wouldn't have enough money to do on her own. MAYBE miraculously the Polish publishing company would print out the Eng version if she asked but I honestly doubt it. Or maybe someone would do a digital version of the translation? Idk. Maybe all of you people team up and make some kind of petition so it could happen? You know "The power is in a group" ^_^

That's really nice of you to offer, but I understand this is not an issue of translation (Karolina could probably do it herself, since she speaks English very well,) it's about printing and publishing the English version. In my opinion the digital version of it might be the way to go, or maybe a cheaper paperback, but frankly it's really complicated. In Poland the English version of the book would not attract attention because there simply is not a big target group for it, and distribution abroad is problematic and probably too costly, so it would not pay off for the publisher to do it

google translate is awfully inaccurate
@@mysticalcatnip221 actually it depends on many things. It can translate a lot of complicated sentences well. Just not all of them. It sometimes messes up genders and phrases that are untranslatable and of course some random words are messed up too, but it's honestly not so bad.
Please don't butcher the beautiful Polish language with Google Translate 😬 Karolina, if you still need a translator, I'm one and will gladly translate it for you! :)

I finally got my hands on this book a couple of days ago and I'm soooo happy! I live in Kaliningrad, Russia, and despite being so close to Poland the shipping costs are horrendous, so I've thought I didn't have any chance to get it. But then I've had an opportunity to get just across the border to Gołdap, and here it was, in (most likely) the only bookshop in this very small and very nice town! My knowledge of the Polish language is very limited (though it was just enough to get me the book), but I feel that I can use this book not only to get the information and look at the astonishingly gorgeous pictures, but to also improve my Polish language skills. Thank you so much, Karolina, for your wonderful work!
