Smallrig cage & swivel mount for the mic. Solves the battery change out issue & solves the mic issue. The cage is metal, a little heavier, but so well worth it.

@@TechTalkwithSamir Amazon is our friend. The Diety doesn't sound the same on both ends, so I opted to search for a swivel mic mount. Love it! Plus it puts the fluffy a little higher above, so it doesn't get viewed by the lens. My Osmo got a whole wardrobe! Wish I had known about the magnetic lenses though before I ordered the screw on ones.

A lot of good and useful info/suggestions, Samir - thank you! Liked and subscribed. I purchased extra batteries and a multi-battery charger when I bought my Osmo Action. The only other accessory that I'd be interested in adding would be the mic that you were wearing in this video. I would think that placing it under your shirt would help eliminate wind noise?
For sure. The only negative side to the rode wireless go is that it also runs off battery so you’re limited to battery life. Also it doesn’t work well if you have to wear thick layer of clothing due to weather. But otherwise it’s a great solution. Thanks for checking out the video!

Do you recommend the 3rd party batteries that you first bought? Those are the ones Ive been looking at.. the exact charger plus 3 batteries for the price of 2 original batteries.. My question is how is the endurance on 3rd party vs original?
i actually use only original batteries. I don't use 3rd party batteries. The reason why two of them look slightly different is because the one that comes with the osmo action has some warnings at the bottom whereas the additional ones you buy seperately don't have those warnings. All 3 of mine are DJI batteries. That being said, depending on the price point, it maybe worth looking into 3rd party batteries. However i've noticed in the past that 3rd party batteries tend to be much lower quality with my other devices.
Hi thanks Samir...I'm also using the osmo action camera...any suggestions on how to get a wider view on the DJI osmo action..perhaps a lens..thanks for the video will follow you too.
Great question. If you don’t want to deal with extra lenses, you can try turning off RockSteady (image stabilization). That will make it significantly wider But that will make the footage very shaky. I personally haven’t tried external lenses but since the lens cover is changeable, I imagine there’s ultra wide adapters for the camera.

Optical zoom would be hard to do with an action cam but a 4x digital zoom at 1080p would have been cool.
@@TechTalkwithSamir I have one question, why can we not change to front or rear when you are recording. I have to turn the recording off to switch to front?
You might have a older firmware. Try updating the firmware. I believe I can change while recording now.
