Since you fired that helper you can hire your little clone to help.
I just mounted my living room TV Saturday after contemplating whether to or not. It had been mounted so I already had the bracket. I also have a thinner and taller black glass table but mine is filled with an HTPC, AVR Receiver, center channel speaker, router (since it's a central area to the house), and other stuff, so that hides the cables. Mine is higher than normal too so it can be seen from the dining room or kitchen but is tilted down so when I'm kicked back on the sofa reclined it's directly in my line of site and not at an angle. Next time we talk remind me to tell you the old school way I find the studs with no electronics.
