      Its sometimes on offer in the freezer section in Tesco! Including the chicken nugget style bites. Nope...my kids are teenagers and have no idea and I dont tell them its halal! In fact they love the chicken nuggets.....the coating is different too and they haven't even asked why. They just said they are good! I will get the name of the brand when in Tesco. The fresh chicken is cheaper too even when not on offer Liyana. @@liyanalife

    My son studied the Karan and doesn't eat pork hardly ever anymore. We lovingly tease him and call him akmed when I fix it. He explained it to me I had no idea. I guess I'm a heathen cuz I love bacon😂 I call what you've explained about the separation and no touching male and female to me is old ways and technically I guess it would be proper etiquette as well. I did enjoy this talk and I do understand things better thank you so much. Our teasing my son I hope you didn't find offensives also I guess it is not Politically correct so my apologies. This was very interesting video! I am not a Muslim or not a very religious person in general even if I still belong to the church I was baptized as a child. We are not that different.
    Since my children have some Muslim classmates I was wondering how are birthday parties seen? Muslims don't celebrate birthdays, right? But is it ok to participate to parties?
    How about Halloween or Christmas parties for children? Are those forbidden? Is it better not to invite Muslim children to events like that?

    • @liyanalife
      @liyanalife  9 месяцев назад

      Thank you for asking!
      Birthdays..you get many Muslims who celebrate it nowadays but there's still Muslims like me who don't 🤷🏻‍♀️ for me it's always just another day lol (except for feeling depressed on getting older 😅 but grateful at the same time)
      Mostly even if they don't celebrate they would be OK going to a party esp children as there's no drinking etc going on that an adult party would have. As long as the child has a vegetarian option. But some families may be different - its no harm inviting them and then leaving it up to them if they come or don't 🥰
      However with halloween or Christmas parties it would most likely be a no. It won't be offensive inviting - most people know it is a kind gesture on your end, but they may just politely decline

    Loved this and you know me never wanting to ask anything for fear of upsetting you both, wouldn,t want to do that for the world .
    Well ok so here goes, if Noah is out and a parcel delivery guy comes to the door and you dont have your hijab on could you just throw a big wooly hat on or something to cover your hair ?
    Your facial expressions are sooo funny , you look at Noah as if to say dont go there ! Then the next expression he's gone there😂

      It's funny you ask that, there's so many funny memes on the Internet about this because it's a real thing 🤣 hijabi girls and the front door situation 😂
      I never bother opening it tbh 😂 cos they go in 2 seconds lol but otherwise I keep a hijab on the coat Hanger near the door and swing it on when I need to. I have one that's like an all in one sewn in place so you literally just poke your head through it. I look like a penguin 🐧 with it but oh well 🤣😆 otherwise most hijabi girls throw a hood on from their robe or tops with hoods or try to grab anything 😂😂 it's a really funny situation.
      Oh God I know I'm trying to work on my expressions 😂 and patience for Noah 🤣😅 😂😆🫠 and I love Noliya ❤️ 😉 xoxoxox

    Very interesting, a couple of questions do you wear your hajib in the house all the time or can you be free of anything on your head and do you feel as if you are missing out on social activities or anything that you wouldn’t be allowed to do

    • @liyanalife
      @liyanalife  11 месяцев назад +3

      Nope, you don't wear hijab at home at all. The only time you have to wear hijab is in front of men who aren't immediate family / basically anyone you can marry. So I wear it while I'm at home only because I'm filming 🎥 and that would go public. I can take my hijab off in front of females or at female only parties, weddings etc.
      I'm answering honestly..to your second question. Thankfully I have never felt I'm missing out on anything I can't do. Those things just never appealed to me. Take clubbing for example..it's too loud, noisy, hectic for me..too bright, not really a fan of the music etc just not my cup of tea even if I was able to do these things.
      I will say that it is hard, being in this society because you can stand out and you are different. It can be hard for others to grasp, and sometimes feeling different or things being harder (like jobs) because you're Muslim.. is more of a struggle.
      Alcohol isn't appealing to me but I do think it's probably handy for anxiety, or to drink your sorrows away haha but I'm thankful I don't drink as I know it could be so easy to rely on it and it's just not good for the body in the long run and I like to have my head screwed on 😂
      I personally haven't felt I've missed out but I know others may struggle with this. For me i think when you grow up used to what you can and can't do, you don't feel any different. You also have other things you enjoy. Then when you reach adulthood you learn more and you have respect for the rules and laws that are in place because you understand why

      @@liyanalife yes, I see now after practicing Arabic, my English is jacked up. The questions from my friends are annoying. My husband is a wonderful man. I tell him that he fell from heaven. Ohhh yes now I understand. Ah so your friends have preconceived ideas. Muslim men can actually be one of the most romantic, especially Arabs 😂 anddd practising Muslim men don't cheat 😏😌 a man who fears God, should/ would be a good man. • @Maiju86
    @Maiju86 10 месяцев назад +1

    Why do you need to pray many times a day and on certain times? I think you didn't mention that. What if you just can't do that?
    I am 37 years old, so older but not that old. 😂 I love drinking tea, don't ever go clubbing, would not watch 50 shades of grey with my friends (that would be strange), I don't wear tiny clothes, I don't eat pork and very little meat... So I think it would be easy for me to have Muslim friends. 😁

    • @liyanalife
      @liyanalife  9 месяцев назад

      Yes I think it would be easy for you to have muslim friends for sure! There's truly only those sorts of differences I mentioned.
      You do your best to pray on those set times. Doesn't have to be on the dot but as long as you pray before the next prayer is due. If you miss it, you can make it up whenever you can do so, but it's best to strive to pray them on time.
      We pray at dawn, noon, mid-afternoon, sunset and evening.
      Initially, 50 daily prayers were commanded! Thankfully it got reduced to 5 daily prayers on the advice of Prophet Moses to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) we pray because it's a commandment from Allah (God) and it's one of the critical tenets that make you Muslim. Everyone can pray because there's a way for everyone. So if you are ill, old, weak etc there's other ways of praying that are easier like sitting down, laying down, sitting on a chair etc.

      @liyanalife  11 месяцев назад +1

      I can't really understand your question? A man and a woman need to marry for any intimate relationship in Islam and they need to do that the Islamic way / under Islamic rulings. A Muslim girl has to marry a Muslim man. A Muslim man can marry a Christian, jew or Muslim. Again, all done under Islamic rulings / nikkah

    • @joaojosenunes6875
      @joaojosenunes6875 11 месяцев назад

      What is Nikkah? Nikkah is not marriage? Nikkah is contract basis marriage? Arabic marriage is called zawaz? Now halal I speak in Muslim man can married till 4wives? All those for them get virgin? But what is a virgins get already? Man got married ? Does this man have a news brand ?That is my question for halal?

    • @liyanalife
      @liyanalife  11 месяцев назад +1

      Zawaj is the Arabic term for marriage.
      Nikkah is the marriage - it is the witnesses & contract. If people want they could do this alone without a wedding and be legally married (islamically) so some Muslims just do this. As long as you do the nikkah that's all that matters, then everything is allowed in the eyes of God.
      A man can marry up to 4 wives but this doesn't really happen anymore..as you have to be fair to each of them which is hard for a man to do. It was for the times where wives lost husbands in wars, or divorced etc.
      Most Muslims if practising won't have been intimate till they marry - that goes for men and women. (Unless previously married. Or unless they weren't Muslim and then became muslim)

    • @joaojosenunes6875
      @joaojosenunes6875 11 месяцев назад

      @liyanalife Nikkah, you didn't completely explain for me? If it has marriage of witness and contract so? Then it is the marriage of contract basis only I mean? Otherwise, it would tell marriage with the witness was?⁷what is Word muttah? Then you say man have up to 4 wives during those times when her husband lost, it has not now? Can you show me in your Hadith and Quran it had been told like that?
