I have to say, you have both done an amazing job with this room. WOW! It is beautiful, has a very calm relaxing atmosphere. My living room & kitchen are one large area, it’s a new house and it’s nice don’t get me wrong but it lacks character. Im now in a wheelchair & can’t do a lot of the things I used to so I have to rely on my Husband & Son to turn my ideas into reality so to speak.This has so much character. Im going to come up with a mood board, the inspiration here has given me a bit of a spirt to take me time and really think about it. Ty👋🏻🫶🏻

Beautiful transformation. I love how youve re-purposed items too and made it your own. Ive done a morrocan theme at my mums house and had some Beautiful morrocan cushion covers from shein £2 each. Scatter cushions on your sofa will look amazing with what youve already done there. Keep up the good work ❤ 😊xx

I love how the entry curtain is pulled to the side, allowing a glimpse of a room, so cozy, relaxing, aesthetically, stunning. And how you used laser to make designs is just mine boggling. You should send this video to a home decor/decorating magazine. It just came out so gorgeous that I am sure you can make some money doing other peoples homes as interior decorators. I did want somewhere that's relaxing 😌 and inviting as well as cosy so you are right about that, even noticing how I placed the curtain. So glad I didn't leave the big brown door on! You could put a carpet tack on each corner of the rug to keep it down and not ruffle up. Adore the lamp and the coffee table everything is just so put together. One of the things that makes formerly industrial buildings wonderful for residential use is that they often have larger windows and better light than your average house or apartment. There are so many lovely details that you created (too numerous to list), but I think my favorite part is the corner chair with the basket-like fixture overhead, and the fountain nearby. What a perfect place to read a book or snooze or just soak in the light. I'm curious. Since you didn't formally study interior design, what did you study at university? Also, it sounds like a container garden is what might work for you. You won't have to worry about the soil you have and then you can take them with you if you move. A friend of mine has such a lovely garden that you would never suspect was made purely of contained plantings.

@@liyanalife yeah there's some windows that are like that we have two sets of French doors in our living room plus four of the 3 ft by 7 ft windows so we got a lot of looking out space. But yours looked so inviting. You did yours in a subtle but not in your face then I really like it a lot especially the pork thing and then the white piece that had like the court design on it but it was on the wall. I was born in age of hippies and so all that Moroccan stuff really stands out older people like me LOL big hugs 2 you and mister man

I've always wanted one, they're so expensive though! So I had to settle with a smaller one and just added height to it. Looked much more expensive after I painted it though!
