I like how this intro shows some of the historical moments without spoiling the whole game. Magus was not shown either thus making the player believe he may or may not be a party member later on and Crono was in all scenes making the player believe he's the main character not knowing the dark tragic fate he'll end up in later on.

I remember watching a gdq stream I think it was on this game. They were really small back then I think. Or it wasn’t a popular stream. It’s was like a decade ago I can’t recall. But I fell asleep watching the whole stream never having been old enough to recall the full details of the game. It was the most comfortable I felt in a really hard period of my life at the time. I miss it
@@lucasgoes3065 it was one of those generic celeron D processor with 512MB of ram. The computer was only "fast" for basically the time I'd been posting stuff. You really needed high requirements for BSNES back then, but then the guy who worked on it began working with snes9x, so BSNES is really not that useful. snes9x 1.52 was the first collab version and worked fine for me

@singularity3 Well, I was told on Emutalk it was a ram issue. I guess that was their bad. My computer is fast, but it still won't run it.

Why does this version have no animation or cutscenes? The intro on the PSone was animated
SNES did not have the space for that.
its not only that, chrono came first on the snes, then it came for ps1
When they ported the game to PS1, they added some animation because there was plenty of space on disc for it.
