- So I finally managed to be able to record the anime intro for the PC version. Using Nvidia Shadowplay. This intro is actually much higher quality than the playstation version(debunking my claim from before) however, it initially isn't full screen. So I made it full screen by cropping out the borders. It still isn't as clean as the scenes shown in square's trailer however it's as clean as we're gonna get..for now! so Enjoy!

There's an OVA that follows a Nu and Kilwala around the Millenial Fair the night before it opens in the game, and Gato is in it also.
I like how you can totally tell that this was animated around the exact same time they were making Dragon Ball GT. The shiny muscles and darker colors....this is total GT era...

Really? To me it looks like after the 2000's. It reminds me of Hunter x Hunter 1999 The Greed Island Arc episode 73 . It looks brighter than GT era

Not really this reminds me of the time when Toei was animating the OP's for the 2nd and 3rd Budokai games it doesn't really resemble GT all that much if you want to see GT era Animation you should check out Final Bout that game has a pretty good GT like OP since it was made during 1996-1997.
Aka the best era of anime. 80's and 90's! Now anime doesn't hold a candle to earlier decades anime. It's mostly cost cutting and digital art

After hearing the recent news about Toriyama, I was reinvigorated to continue my first Chrono Trigger playthrough which I stopped due to failing to defeat the dragon tank, and I finally managed to beat it. I cant wait to play the rest of it, and while doing so I have no doubt that his contribution to this game, anime, manga and pop culture wont be far from my mind. Thank you and rest in peace.

I played this for the first time back in early 2016 and I fell in love with it. It was so fun. Especially since I watch DBZ with the art style.

Pretty much xD but it still isn't fullscreen, I just had to crop around the boarders when I rendered this out in vegas. also the visual noise in the video isn't there in their trailer either so they are still holding out on us. However, The quality here IS better than the PS1 version. I initially thought they had just ripped the movies from the disc but my anger didn't let me think rationally at the time because I want this game to get proper treatment. These scenes are better looking but sadly still compressed. Square is holding on to the HD goods.
A game that came out in the 90: that is STILL in top video games of ALL TIME! Toriyama’s contribution to this masterpiece cannot be understated! Rest in Otherworld Akira Toriyama!

Crono Cross- Hey remember all those beloved characters you loved in Chrono Trigger? You do?! Well guess what, they’re all dead! Most of them died off screen during the war aside from a from a few lines of dialogues referencing their existence
welp i mean the ones from the past? ok sure fine they were pretty far back. crono and co? why goddarnit. and robo? FFS
What really twists in the knife is that Antiquity-era fuckboy Dalton being responsible for the war.
Magus is Guile. He becomes Guile after Schala wipes his memory after the DS special ending. Also, Chrono Cross is a different timeline when Magus continued his search for Schala and found her.
I still love Chrono Cross anyway.
Which going by the actual lore scope of the game is beyond ridiculous, Crono and Co. wiped out BY HAND and MAGIC, a world destroying parasite that single handedly took on an entire worlds miltary 1000 years in the future to where somehow Crono lost to bunch of plebs while having an ARMY backing him. I could believe it if the events were like.... 50 years in the future, Chrono old and tired. But 10 years? He'd still be in his prime, his magic would still be enough to blow away hundreds with a single cast. They tore apart Zeal, the literal magical army of beings composed from all over time in the Black Omen, Magus's Magical Army, to say he got 'overwhelmed by sheer numbers' is beyond ridiculous.
It was an interesting game and had potential, but making it so that it so directly tied in with Trigger's immediate history was poor thinking on their part in a blatant attempt to up the 'threat level' of Lynx (The most pathetic bullshit villain who somehow managed to kill the most powerful FIRE MAGE in all of TIME with Fire!? Yeah fucking stupid.)
Either way, the entire game took things to 'Cutscene Incompetence' to the absolute max and rendered it basically unplayable to anyone who enjoyed the first title.

By far one of the greatest games ever made... Easily a top 5 on anys list... If they remade this game everyone would be on board

This was so epic when it came out on the Ps1. I remember watching it over and over on realplayer clips from geocities websites before the game was released in North America.
Years ago, when I was still 11. I was at the mall with my mother, I saw a dragon ball PS game and begged her to buy it.
I played the game and it is nothing like DB aside from artstyle. Pissed about this but continued on playing.
Finished the game and turned into a favorite to this date.

Había escuchado mucho de este juego y a principios de este año tuve la dicha de conseguirlo en la versión de snes ya lo he terminado y debo decir lo que me emocioné mucho jugando. Su historia, sus personajes, la música todo absolutamente todo me encantó ya imagino la emoción que sintieron los que lo jugaron en su momento.

Actually no. Long before it out in ps1, i already play it in SNES emulator for nintendo
@@kyuubinine original SNES didnt have the cinematics. The Cinematics were the highlight of the PS1version as it was a special edition that was released with FFIV which also had first time cinematics.
@@kyuubinine the game's original release was SNES, yes, but the opening cinematic started on PS1 and followed every rerelease since.
So is the PC version the best way to experience the re-release version of Chrono Trigger? I have the SNES version, but I'd love to play with the I proved translation + have these cutscenes.
@@AirshBornely PC version is buggy as hell and is a direct port of the mobile version. I never could get the sound to work so i ended up uninstalling it. And from what i understand, the DS version is the only one with additional dungeons and secret Dream Devourer boss not available in the other versions.
I remember seen this intro for the promotion of Final Fantasy Chronicles for PS1 back in the ‘90s. I loved it the same way I loved the original SNES intro. One of the best RPGs, I have played in my life.
