This is similar to a music video where it shows them playing but the sound you are hearing is done in a studio. I'm not trying to say the artists aren't talented. This piece was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. This was my first taste of the Boston Video Game Orchestra and I loved all the highlight musicians especially the kong drum chick (I think that’s what she’s playing) and the violinist. I occasionally come Back to this video as this orchestrated performance was so majestic they truly highlighted and represented this games official composer in a highly impressive and utter talent gushing way
10 years later and it's baffling that a performance like this was filmed by such an amateur cameraman, who thought the keyboard solo was the guitarist's. Still, it's bone-chilling and eye-wetting. I absolutely love this performance.

As a fellow musician (though not in this league) i love seeing when musicians really genuinely enjoy the song they are playing. Many of us grew up with these songs having played the game so to hear it performed with so much heart is just the best kind of sweet.

It's 2024 and I do not care about the camera work. I don't turn this video on to watch it. I turn it on to listen to it. They can never take the audio away. It is by fair my favorite video on all of the internet. It strikes the chord of everything I wanted to do as a kid in the 90s and to see others doing it is wonderful.
