Still one of my favorite songs of this era. It really feels like a part of history that I was a part of, even if I was only 13 at the time.

I even feel "attacked". I hate the world so much I started ignoring the news because it only resulted in me feeling bad. But that's how I become a "I-don't-care-ican". And it does give me more rest, but my 10 year old is already starting talking about world issues like modern slavery, animal rights, ... And is this the example I want to give him? So yeah. This hits hard.

These comments make me so happy :) I was listening to this in high school over 8 years ago and very recently I've been thinking how the hell punk rock isn't making a huge comeback with all the troubles in the country and then I see comments not even weeks old to a song so "old" ha it truly is awesome!

This is my all time favorite NOFX song seriously so catchy!!
This is one of those that had a huge impact on me in my teens. Years later I would eventually decide to go back to school and pursue political science.... what I discovered was that NOFX was right in that Norm Chomsky and other political scientists and philosophers will keep you up at night.

My friend's band covered NOFX's "Idiots Are Taking Over", they were kicked out because a dean said "bashing religion was detrimental to a free society", something along those bullshit lines.
