I played destiny 1 alpha all the way through to Rise of Iron. Man Destiny 2 will never give me the same feeling destiny 1 did. I met my 2nd raid team in destiny 1 and we had a lot of fun late night shenanigans together. This was back when I was a freshman in HS. Im 22 now and graduated HS 5 years ago. Time flies by so fast but those memories were honestly one of the funnest ones in all my life 🥲🥲😭

I'm pretty sure it isn't them. The titan is different. Different Gender. The one they showed in the Lightfall has a different body shape. Looks female. Also, in the Seraph trailer in D2, it is a female. They show the fire team there as well. It's the same ones they showed getting sliced to pieces in LightFall.

Nah the fireteam that got minced in Final Shape, that was Shayura, Aisha, and Reed-7. This is the OG group we saw in The Final Shape trailer, with the warlock getting blasted in the chest in the VoG scene specifically.

The reason it looks quite different is because they couldn't find a set that was close enough to the one set out in the game so they had to go to central America I think
And the moon too.
They did use that in game, we where just in a more inhabited area
Jamison edits that’s not the original look. The reason it looks like that is due to budget constraints so they couldn’t fully model what Venus looks so they had to use actual real life areas. Same thing with the moon and Mars. Mars is just some canyon in real life where it has way more detail in the game

We never get an exact number, we know humanity advanced enough to begin colonizing every planet in the system, the Golden Age, before an unknown alien entity; The Darkness, followed the Traveller to Earth and proceeded to destroy everything; the Great Collapse. This was when the Traveller had the brilliant idea (not sarcasm, it actually was) of creating the Ghosts, which in turn created the Guardians by imbuing deceased Humans, Exos, and Awoken with the Light, resurrecting them and granting them awesome abilities no other living being is capable of. Short answer: Old school is same couple decades, classical is far older, several decades to a century or two, and ancient is several centuries or more

@@Primal_Aozora coicnidence? Nah, it seems more likely that the director of Ragnarok just googled "medieval space game" or "game like Guardians Of the Galaxy" to get ideas. It is pretty common these days, since games have amazing cinematics with badass action sequences. And to be honest I am cool with it. Especially when it s done correctly and the final result is as epic as Thor Ragnarok. Thor used to be my least favorite Avenger. Then, after watching Ragnarok (and that epic landing scene in particular) he became one of my top 3.

Love how the jump in the Final Shape trailer (at about 0:30), perfectly mimics the jump here (at 1:40). Just a fun callback I noticed.

I've been playing Destiny since it came out. I've spent countless hours Completing strikes, raids, crucible; all over the Solar system. I've made some awesome friends, some of whom I Call my Dearest friends, and fellow Guardians.
It's 2020, about to hit 2021.
I can't even imagine how different my life would be without destiny TBH.

This was the trailer that solidified myself in gaming. I had to chose between minecraft, and this weird looking box, back in may, 2014. I looked in that box, and it had a couple of games. By the time I found destiny, I was about to leave. But, I pulled out my phone, saw this very same trailer 4 years ago, and knew, I was born to be a gamer. Now I have every single playstation, the wii, the switch, so much memorabilia,
and a ton of diffrent things, not to mention destiny 1 (all expansions) and destiny 2 (all except forsaken and the yearly pass.) If this comment ever gets out to the guys at playstation, and the guys at bungie, (not to mention so many others, like bethesda), I would just like to thank you, for everything, For a childhood. A way to talk with others. A way to make new friends, and show the world what you love. Because, with gaming, with a community as big as this one? Language isn't a problem. There is no race, there is no hate, and there is no age limit, just working like a team, to accomplish 1 mission, after another, in a way that grasps the veiwers view. It takes them to a whole new world. And just as the way I was immersed, everyone who has ever owned a game, weather virtually, or in the real world, knows how it feels as well. So, no matter how many years have passed, no matter how far we travel, or how low we go, we can always count on one-another. And for that, I'd just like to say, in a very formal form.....
