  • My first session of the winter after the Lockdown so i headed for a nice urban setting to use my dropshot gear for the first time.

    I would try shortening the hook to weight distance. Probably 6-12". Tight Lines!

    Hi, just getting back into fishing. Can you tell me why. You put mono line as the leader line. With braided line as the main line.thanks

      Braid gives you the ability to feel for a bite but i use around 3 to 4 ft of fluorocarbon at the hook end as it's virtually invisible in the water and it's tougher than monofilament so you have a decent chance of landing a pike should you find one by accident 👍
