Yowzers! I did all the bulbs a few weeks ago but saved the puddle lights for today. Like one guy said already, it sure seems like these plastic tabs were going to break off. Still flipping the coin if I want the sequential turn signals. Kinda kick myself in the butt I didn’t get those as well. At least I know I can do it. I’d probably wait for warmer weather since plastic breaks easier when it’s a lot colder. Great video by Corey as always. I’m probably going to try doing the valances next. Hate the silver ones. I’ve watched the video at least a dozen times. Anyone needs a hand doing theirs. I’d like to help someone else before doing mine.
Crazy, but I actually prefer the stock interior yellowish lighting inside my 23 Taco trd off road and in my ladies 24 4runner trd pro. It's more subtle and doesn't blast you with some bright @ss white light where everyone can see you lol.
I did the side mirrors last. It was a little stressful on the first side. Didn’t want to break any clips on my 2 week old 4Runner but it went smoothly on the 2nd side 😅 the def went back and watched the video a second time halfway info the first side. Thanks for the video!
The license lights on my 2024 4Runner were installed backwards too. Is there a way to change then over? Or is the connection for those too far imbedded in the door to easily switch them?
Yeah.. those mirrors are sketchy man, might have to leave those ones alone. Snapping a clip with 280 miles would piss me off 😂 Why not go stage 2? Is it too bright to be useful? Also, no concerns with fingerprint and oil? Used to be we tried not to touch bulbs because the oil would heat up and cause them to break. I get the LED’s don’t have the glass around them like that but no concerns getting oils on them and then getting hot?
We never installed the stage 2 so I don't know exactly how much brighter it is. But the stage 2 is also $60 more and we figured the stage one would be the more popular kit and that's why we used it for our video. And with the LED bulbs, I don't think touching them is an issue like it was with halogen bulbs.
Are the 92 lumens too much? I just impulse ordered them and have no idea what to expect, I’m getting them for the doors but I’m worried it’s going to be aggressive af

Great tutorial ! Only scary part was doing the bulbs in the mirror. You must have did this a couple of times before. You made it look simple. 😃
Lol, yeah I have ripped the mirrors aparts a handful of times on our 4Runner and Tacoma

I already replaced my license plate lights, but I was thinking the same thing because mine were wrong too.
Thats crazy! They have L and R flipped
Do these bulbs fade on and off or is it instant brightness. I really like the fade of the oem bulbs.

Do you have video for the rear hatch struts install once a ladder is added for extra weight?
Yup! Here's the link ruclips.net/video/YYgDeMFgIWI/видео.html

@@yotaxpedition cool! Thanks for the reply!
Question, whats the difference between replacing the puddle light bulbs and actually buying the puddle light kit?
I have not tested the 2 options side by side but I'd assume the Meso customs light kit is a lot brighter.

I have not seen the stage 2 yet in person but the stage one is nice. Not too much.
