Colbrelli is riding very well coming to the World Tour this year. Still like the pink and green from last year's Merida team better, this one is still very nice. Sonny's saddle looks farther forward than most riders, even other sprinters.
This bike is obviously the pinnacle of illite racing equipment and it’s interesting that cost or price of the item reflects state of the art technology and engineering developments. Don’t complain about not being able to afford a bike like this because the industry is in gear with improvements to cycling.
love your channel and videos! Just got my reacto 400 and I know each rider is different but, out of curiosity, what size was Sonny riding here? S/M or M/L? He stands at 1.76m height just like me
+Lee Tunstall - Trek has a slot for their sensor inside the chainstay and it connects just fine via Bluetooth to an iPhone mounted on the bars. If you want cadence, the sensor must be on the chainstay.
Penelope de Brett ah right. well if you get to Halfords before the end of the bank holiday weekend, they are selling the bike 20% off at £6999 but can't promise a free shammie. I was one of the lucky ones
Interesting it's just Sky with the latest Dura Ace group set. Wonder if Sky have asked Shimano to 'hold up' production to the other teams? :).... Excuse me now whilst I put my tin foil hat on. Nice looking bike though. I have a Team Merida Carbon 0.9 frame on my MTB - and it's awesome.
I like it and all it's detail but I feel like the colour choices (even though it doesn't matter) makes it feel like it is not all it's meant to be along with it components
I am interested that Sonny is using a speed sensor. I have found that the distance covered by my speed sensor differs from the Strava reading on my smart phone typically by up to 1K on a 40K. I have set up the sensor as per the manufacturers instructions so which is correct?
nah but i am bored of them feeling like they need to name every piece cause i mean duh if it's DA FD then it's DA RD, etc. should only really name the exceptions when it comes to groupsets....
The pro teams run what the sponsors are giving them...it's not a choice because DA is better or anything. Tires are another good example as 90% of the peloton runs Continental tubs.
im abit confused, the weight limit is to prevent overly light bikes that are potentially dangerous, and lighter bikes are faster, then why teams are not trying to get their weight down to the nearest gram they can get to the limit?
It is possible, however that means not using sponsors products. It is easy to get most aero road bikes down to/or below 6.8kg, using exotic carbon finishing kit and wheels (Lightweight or THM). Second reason is that its not worth it, as the gains in aerodynamic far outweigh the gains from being lightweight (except for steep climbs)
What do you think of this bike?
Hot 🔥 or Not ❄️ ? let us know 👇
Definitely hot. That team has the best paintjob of the WorldTour.
Please measure the drop too :)
It is awesome 😎
Global Cycling Network HOT!
hot af
got a reacto on order, cant wait!
Oh God! That bike looks soo beautiful with that colour!!!!!
I really want that frame so bad!
Looks bloody brilliant. Thanks lads!
thanks GCN for another great video on another work of art

Beautiful bike. Love the more traditional race geometry as well.
Maybe a good idea for a video would be to ask the pros if they listen to music when they train and if they do what kind of music do they listen to!
I have a merida scultura 200 2017 edition, it is amazing at climbing
1:10 Chain ring 9100? Dan oh Dan~

Andrey Amador (Movistae) bike please! You will make a Costa Rican fan very happy
la tiene el oij xD
SRM has always made their own cranks for dura ace.
Nice bike too
my favorit is the pulsion Lapierre seen at Paris Roubaix 2017

Еееее, больше никто не будет обижать мою меридочку!
Nice color scheme...
Video idea Office and shop tour?
00:01 Merido? The mineral waters strike again
#TorqueBack - Where should I put my speed sensor and magnet? Forks or chainstay?
Depends just on the cable length or, if it's a wireless system, the sensor range.
I'd say chainstay, more aero than fork
+Lee Tunstall - Trek has a slot for their sensor inside the chainstay and it connects just fine via Bluetooth to an iPhone mounted on the bars. If you want cadence, the sensor must be on the chainstay.
really hot im getting one for my birthday my friend has one he said it ia really awesome
I got this bike in Halfords with free tyre levers and car shammie. True sort of story
Penelope de Brett British humour...
***** you must be Italian, there is a whiff of pizza and linguini pasta to your name?
Penelope de Brett ah right. well if you get to Halfords before the end of the bank holiday weekend, they are selling the bike 20% off at £6999 but can't promise a free shammie. I was one of the lucky ones
fantastic bike, great design actually better than the italian bikes... ah I'M ITALIAN
Hi GCN, can you create how to install sprint/satellite shifters? Thank You

ARKINHK exactly my thoughts buddy 👍🏻
or maybe Sky is the most popular team out there right now and makes an excellent advertising platform
@ flanders, Tom had 9100 on his spare bike. Merida are running SRM crankset. I think power meters have something to do with the rollout of 9100
I like it and all it's detail but I feel like the colour choices (even though it doesn't matter) makes it feel like it is not all it's meant to be along with it components
you didnt mention that he has got one spacer above this stem, which is nothing common in the pro peloton
"Chain rings are also from dura ace 9100." Come on Dan, what is it with you and incorrectly identifying groupsets....
I have a Merida Matt's 10 and I'm a beginner and not sure how well it performs can you guys give me some insight on the bike please?

отличный вел!
2:13 wow... FSA stickers over the bar tape? I hope that isn't uncomfortable or affects his grip.
Nice!!!!
Keeping shorthair model still?
the chainrings are from 9000 not 9100
What the heck's going on with the front brake cable?? (@0:57)
The slippery coating on the dura-ace brake cable has worn where it's exposed.
Looks like Vaseline or some sort of grease
where is the paris-nice warcry amplifier
why the brakes are not sutiable for the max aerodynamic?
I am more interested in the MERIDA frame, not Shimano. Tell us why it gives Sonny that winning acceleration.
Cobrelli reminds me of Giuseppe Sarroni.
Anyone else getting bored of seeing Dura ace groupset on everything?
Smale Rider, is Tiagra better?
It's just not interesting when everyone has the same stuff. I think one time on these videos I saw a etap once.
Smale Rider, maybe other brands should start making better products.
nah but i am bored of them feeling like they need to name every piece cause i mean duh if it's DA FD then it's DA RD, etc. should only really name the exceptions when it comes to groupsets....

can you say something for shimano sora r3000 and claris r2000 for us budget cyclist
Why do pro teams have a hard time getting the latest tech from their sponsors?
Frame size?
Anyone knows what frame size Sonny Colbrelli´s reacto is?
I have the same height as him and mine is 54, but I suspect it's big for me...
Damn, front chainring= DINNER PLATE!
bike looks really small with Dan standing behind
Frame size???
REACTO GOOD
You'd think a pro team could stray away from frayed brake cables 0:57
That's the PTFE coating on high end Shimano inner cables.
It looks kinda magnified by the HD camera.
No way
Eu tenho uma

Deeper wheels > 500 grams in Dubai

strange to have fulcrum (campa) wheels with shimano groupset.
Guys, please upgrade that mic. You sound like you are far away. You sound way better when on a bike with those body mic's.
god merida
Dura ace 9100 chainrings are ugly so I'm glad to see the 9000.
They sure are..
"s flex"? that sounds very closely like "ass flex" and i certainly hope that's not what Merida intends to imply there...

Google..... nuff said.
Bonjour tout le monde
I think it is hot :-)
hot
sizde biraz ucuz olabilir ama bizde çok pahalı
Merida FTW sad about MTB team this year :/
It looks heavier than it is
YES!!! FIRST
Gay in the village
thank you. I'm not even sure why anyone said it was gay.
