How can that supporter not believe Bolsonaro's result? Didn't he exceed expectations and the usually reliable polls? This sounds like a big relief for him.

it's because almost everyone you see in your dalily life is a bolsonaro supporter. Everyone at work, everyone in schools, from 100 people you meet, at leats 85 will be a bolsonaro suporter. But the numbers they show on the tv show different results. So many are surprised and thinking that may be something wrong. That they may be stealing the elections somehow with the eletronic vote that only Brazil uses.

@@Davdit only if you consider total votes, which is explained less people voting null/white: In 2018, the sum of indecideds totaled 8,79%, and now its at 4,41%, about half!
By proportion of valid votes, tho, Bolsonaro fell from 46,03% in 2018 to 43,2% now, a 2,83% drop.
Lula, however, got 48,43% of the vote, up from the 29,28% Haddad got in 18 - in total, a 19,15% rise.
If you prefere vote totals:
In 2018: Bolsonaro enjoyed a 17,9 Million vote lead over his 2nd place rival.
Now: Bolsonaro os trailing Lula by 6,2 Million votes.
Unfortunately, though, the Bolsonaristas outperformed the polls across state level races, with strong results across both the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.

Just for you guys out there who don't know much, Lula is a former convict, he was in jail a little while ago, now he's running for the office, released by a judicial maneveur carried out by justices appointed by Lula himself or his succesor, Dilma Rousseff (both from Workers' Party); Lula is loved by the mainstream media, artists, billionaires and the like. He's close friend to dictators like Maduro (Venezuela's current dictatort), Daniel Ortega (Nicaragua's current dictator), and Fidel Castro (former Cuba's dictator) and Hugo Chaves (Former Venezuela's dictator). On top of it, he's a fan of the chinese regime and USA and Israel fiercious hater. To wrap it up, he was the mastermind of the biggest corruption scandal of Brazil's history, called "Car Wash Operation". Recently, Lula's political party (PT) was accused of being involved with the Latin America's biggest drug gang ( First Capital Command).
