This is interesting. The video on the main jcs channel got taken down. Also my take away from both those falsely accused cases was that the bald dude had a very good read on the cop's demeanor. He knew the cop was going to put him in custody that night regardless of what evidence he may or may not have for his own agenda, cop is probably a sociopath. If he had been aggressive with him things would have gotten a lot worse. Where as the other gentleman was aggressive and fighting for his life because he knows what life in prison is like and he worked hard to stay a responsible law abiding citizen, imagine the despair in his thoughts, being wrongfully punished for reintegrating back to society a rehabilitated man. Lucky for the latter, the cop empathized and sincerely heard his side of the story.
That'll be the 4th video unlisted from JCS's catalogue. I imagine they get a lot of C&D from victims (or in this case cops) that make them pull vids rather than go through some civil suit themselves.
@@ethanalspencer7294 the video got privated, however if anyone has the links to the other ones (like the one in the description of this channel) seems some people did snapshot them on archive.org, i really want to try to find all of the privated/deleted ones. In college I was accused of stealing headphones. The detective said that he had video evidence. I said that I think I'm innocent and I have no idea what he was talking about. he told me that the video showed me taking them. I told him I'd come in and chat but I cant summon headphones that I don't have out of thin air. I had been in ROTC and woke up super early to go train with classes, being in a new state without my old friend group etc. I thought it was possible that I might be going crazy or had some sort of brain problem bc as far as I knew It was impossible that I stole anything. I was doubting my sanity until the guy showed me a video of me walking down a hallway wearing an ROTC jacket saying I concealed it there... I thought "wtf is that it? this guy is a fu**ing joke". My actual reply was "is that it?" I then offered to look through all his video footage because if there was a thief then I could find them. Trust is a very important thing and now I had a guy I had previously respected accusing me of being a thief. I had no reason to believe the cop would lie and the spent days leading up to the meeting thinking I might be going crazy (one of my biggest fears) I talked to a professor and my girlfriends family about it and they asked if I stole the headphones too. I was insulted and almost cursed at them. I told them that I didn't have anything and that they could check my car, room etc. I'm generally an easy going person but how stupid could they think I was to try and steal 15$ headphones from the school I wanted to be at for another 3 years. I wanted to talk to a doctor bc If there actually was 100% evidence that I committed a crime then I might have done other things if I was actually going crazy. My girlfriends mom went to see the cop guy with me. She told me she believed me and that she would drive me to the doctor to see if there is something wrong if the video showed the opposite of what I believed to be the truth. I'm still mad at that cop. I respect most police and have never had a bad experience with them before. The location of the headphones was in a game room that is beneath the dorms. this particular dorm building housed football and basketball players mainly. With all the drinking and smoking that happened I'm sure that one of them did end up with free headphones. Who knows maybe the cop guy stopped chasing dumb leads and found the actual guy. I was respectful in talking to him and everyone else because losing my cool wouldn't help anything. I ended up dropping out of school in large part due to that one incident I became obsessed with trying to prove my innocence and thinking of how I could figure out who actually did it. Maybe I'd run into the thief in the hallway. my grades dropped so I ended up going back to my home state and working a minimum wage job till the present day. It is what it is I suppose. Still, I wish this strategy of lying didn't exist. I guess I'm more like that guy in the video. If someone gets mad that doesn't make them innocent. If someone is calm and respectful that doesn't make them a criminal. I wish it was innocent until proven guilty rather than guilty until proven innocent. In the future, I hope that cop that made the mistake in the vid doesn't worry about a promotion more than getting to the truth.
this is one of the most mentally ill paragraphs I have read in a while, if you’re not already getting professional help you might want to look into that
a lot of people think "46k for three days is nothing" but when you have no idea if the truth will ever come out for something you didn't do and possible years in prison it would never be worth it.
In that case the only thing you should ever tell the cops is “I want a lawyer”. It doesn’t matter if you are guilty or not, some cops might be doing their job properly and trying to uncover the truth, but some others will be a piece of shit like the ones seen here
damn this shit makes me scared to leave my house, the fact that my life could be over by just stepping out my door is insane, and the fact that the cops just sit there and act like fuck sticks for no reason is insane.
I'm so glad JCS's channel is picking up more and more, his content is just insanely good and entertaining to watch. And he explains everything in detail as well.
almost had cops do that to me the first time I was ever pulled over, they accused me of being at a crime scene, I genuinely thought I was getting arrested
The good thing about watching these psychological analysis videos is that you basically learn exactly what it is that you should and shouldn’t do to ensure you’re most convincing. Although that doesn’t really matter if you didn’t do the crime.
I hate that these cases arent taken as seriously as they should be. Trying to destroy someones life for your personal gain should be considered a serious crime
I was wondering why I've gotten so many JCS videos recommended to me recently, I haven't watched any videos about crime at all. But seeing how x and lots of people in chat also gets these recommended, I guess it's because we watch gtaV role play videos.
I love how xQc reacts, because you can tell he's genuinely finding the video interesting, but he doesn't double the video length by pausing it every 10 fucking seconds like Asmonmold.
@Evan Hughes probably wasn't a tough court battle after the fact. But it was a loooooong one. Glad he got money and those asshats got demoted to oblivion
They rarely do honestly. And if they do, it’s not any money that can make up for the trauma, slandered-reputation, or the (possible) lost years spent in prison. Lawrence McKinney was a man falsely accused of rape and spent *31 years* in prison who only got *75 fucking dollars* when he was released. America’s justice system is a fucking joke.
They were spamming NA cops, not EU. EU cops spam was far far less and only in retaliation to the original NA cops assumption which was quickly proven wrong.
I feel bad for that dude, I can completely understand why he's getting so mad I would be just as mad getting charged with something, with such a level of certainty, that I didn't do. ESPECIALLY after making an attempt to man up and be a good and honest man and turn your life around. The 1st guy tough, he's an actual genius, saw right through that cops shaky startegy.
I don't think people understand how often this happens, even if you do get found guilty buy a judge and sentenced for jail time there's almost no suing or fighting back, you can fight back and sue, but the damage has already been done and you 9 times out of 10 will be using your own money on lawyers wich can cost upwards of tens of thousands. I really do advice every single person to take an hour or two out of your lives to look up all your rights and study them so that whenever this happens you'll have leverage and no matter what always have your OWN LAWYER, do not accept any lawer that you do not know or havnt studied there previous cases or talked to before to represent you.
yep In my contry nobody sues in this cases because is too expensive and the amount of time and money that you have to waste alot of the times is not worth it.
It doesnt cost you a cent if you counter sue and seek punitive and compensatory damages. In this case, this man came up 46k and his lawyers feed are paid.
@@borlonto2771 yeah IF YOU WIN if not then your 20k in the hole and spent however long your sentance was. And to be honest 46k is nowhere neeeeeear enough for me to possibly be raped, stabbed maybe even killed in prison, and that still doesn't stop things like this from happening, let alone you will have a criminal record for the rest of your life if you don't win the court case. I'm just saying this shit can happen to anyone so I advise people to brush up on there rights and freedoms and use them accordingly for when cops like this get a little pushy.
It really is risky to talk to cops without a lawyer even if you're innocent but that's kind of a luxury considering how much lawyers cost and how often poor people are the ones in these situations.

First words you say to an officer when you’re arrested/charged with serious crimes is “I want a lawyer” no matter what. Even if you’re completely innocent.
Oliver Mann, the officer interrogating Mr. Dixon in the primary case this video views, is still a sergeant in the Hamilton police department (this case happened in the early 2000s). He is paid a salary of 150,000$ annually.

I love watching chat not know what to do. They, as the hivemind they are, get distracted when x doesn't do anything and nothing funny is happening. 1 person will say something funny and 2% of chat will latch on and start saying it too until less and less people say it and the joke dies off. (An example is when chat was saying "Hindsight Harold" at the beginning)
Crazy I started watching this channel last week and now daddy cow is watching. It's scary some of the cases on that channel and the psychologist is great with the commentary.
Wow, I was about to assume that this is how american's go about interrogation until I heard him say "Constitution of Canada". I am embarassed and disappointed in my own country that this happened... Wow, just wow. That interrogator should not just be suspended and demoted, but fired and banned from ever working a government job.
That's the thing with people working for the government, they don't typically get fired for their incompetence, they just get transferred somewhere else to fuck shit up there too.
@@sirnetflix7162 Seriously, some people see this and think it is the norm, it's literally a fringe case which is why it is featured in a video. Not too many people want to watch standard stuff. It's the same with police shootings and perceived racism.
People are always surprised to hear when something like this happens in Canada. It's actually amazing to see something happen and people think it's the US but then their attitude changes when they get told it's Canada. Not everyone may agree, but the United States is the most similar to Canada out of any other nation. There's actually a lot of videos where something is recorded in Canada and quite a few people mistake it to be in the US. Just play a few rounds of NA Geoguessr or Cityguesser. The amount of times I've guessed in the southern US and the screen pops up to a random ass town in Canada is actually insane. Look at the border towns as well in New England, the towns are literally identical to each other. People even mistake Canadian police for American ones. They both practically have the same uniforms, weapons, everything. And Canadians usually don't have a hard accent, so you can't even tell. If you ever see a video and you think it's an American cop but something seems off, look at the pants of the officer. If there is a red or colored stripe going down their pant leg then they're Canadian police. If there is no stripe, they're American. That is usually the case for most officers in Canada. And people also don't realize that Canadian police also use their firearms a lot. There are obviously less officers in Canada so its not reported often but you can find videos of Canadian police acting like actual animals and the comments will be filled with people thinking that they're American police. Like one incident where 2 Alberta officers responded to a call of a person in a stormtrooper costume walking down the street with a toy blaster. They ran up to him guns drawn and arrested him. It was a very controversial arrest.
17:25 “I have nothing to gain from that” not just what he said on vid but officers also get paid for the people they arrested that are in prison aswell as the prison guards

It's a bit confusing to say the least because the footage in those videos IS PUBLIC DOMAIN so i don't think anyone can request those to be taken down.
@@dreamcorners If you just search jcs unlisted videos, the first reddit link should have the three really good ones, which for now are just unlisted instead of private. I think they're all available on their patreon still too.
I'm guessing it's less threats of copyright than it is defamation suits. Even if JCS do a good job being pretty neutral the threat of a costly, if not ultimately winnable, civil suit might just not be worth the hassle.
I literally watched all of jcs’s videos like 4 days ago and he starts reacting to it, man the coincidence

bc its funny
Being in the wrong place in the wrong time is one of my biggest fears
In that case the only thing you should ever tell the cops is “I want a lawyer”.
It doesn’t matter if you are guilty or not, some cops might be doing their job properly and trying to uncover the truth, but some others will be a piece of shit like the ones seen here

I'm just saying this shit can happen to anyone so I advise people to brush up on there rights and freedoms and use them accordingly for when cops like this get a little pushy.

Number 1 rule in life: DON’T TALK TO THE FUCKING COPS AND GET A LAWYER
It really is risky to talk to cops without a lawyer even if you're innocent but that's kind of a luxury considering how much lawyers cost and how often poor people are the ones in these situations.
In most if not all states a lawyer is provided for you if you can't afford one. Best action is to just ask for a lawyer and then stfu

Even if this was in the US, this is literally a few cases. This would be a far cry from the norm.
ruclips.net/video/sqBOBziEGb0/видео.html,,
@@sirnetflix7162 Seriously, some people see this and think it is the norm, it's literally a fringe case which is why it is featured in a video.
This is like the 3rd time he's reacted to something that I watched on my own time days after I find it. I guess I'm more of a juicer than I thought.
Why is the original video privated?
17:25 “I have nothing to gain from that” not just what he said on vid but officers also get paid for the people they arrested that are in prison aswell as the prison guards
