I love to see nothing but positive comments on this band!! Just goes to show how intelligent everyone is who commented, and having wonderful taste! I've loved these guys for about 20 years.
sooooo gorgious ....especially this song: awsome !!!! liked it so much in my younger years but still it's uncomperative. the pause in it- and then it starts again......................soooo nice!
I'd say everything they've done is above their time, including side projects. In my opinion, Heaven Deconstruction beats them all, though Only Heaven is their masterpiece. It's my life soundtrack.
Young Gods and crap in the same sentence don't go. Listen to the tracks astronomique and lucidogen and supersonic LOUD and then say that's crap. Super Ready Fragmenté and Everybody Knows are masterpieces, too. This band is as strong as ever and never let down.
for me there is something on that opppinion. I would also say they lost momentum a bit, they often repeat old motives, not so much surprises anymore. This song is epic, like symphony. Where I saw progress, entertainment, was Amazonia ambient project. Unfortunately I can't find it on web.
I remember seeing this track live boxed out of my nut.... I was almost too boxed before they started.... but when they started all fear was forgotten.... and everything was perfect .... this track and speed of night were just mind blowing.... it was 1995, when they still had my preferred drummer, Urs Hiestand.... his double bass drum work on Speed of night live just blew my mind....what a buzz......
On newer albums there sure are old elements rehashed. Then again it's the burden of an innovative and unique band to a) find new ways only so far and b) be watched much more closely than others. No one would complain Bob Dylan repeats himself. All YG albums have a unique take on things while keeping their own trademarks. The industrial debut, the rock TV Sky, the psychedelic Second Nature, the funky Super Ready Fragmenté... That said, I was a bit disappointed by Everybody Knows, though.
The ''Only Heaven"is the ultimate revelation.
My highest respect
This album is great. Saw them open for Ministry a long time ago. Such a killer show!
i envy you!!!! wtf

This album is just fantastic & this track's its pinnacle.
The way the drums kick in, followed by that awesome guitar at 13:44 just leaves me in a state of awe. It gives me goosebumps every time! Incredible!

don't know why but this song reminds me of "the Death of Music" by Devin Townsend

they're all printed in the album's booklet, which is available in a thousand shops and well worthy. ;)
77 likes & NO dislikes speaks for itself!!
Timeless group, light years ahead of themselves, nevermind anything of their era!
