The kind of music I used to horrify my parents with. "My GOD, what's wrong with HIM??", that kind of thing. Still love bellowing along to it. I saw Roger playing in Newcastle last night and sadly, he can't abuse his vocal chords like this any more, but it was still a great show.
Wow. I had this on tape 45 years ago; then the tape recorder broke and I haven't heard it since. What nostalgia. Thanks very much for sharing. It brings back lots of memories.
Great stuff. I know the quality of modern recordings is a million times better than these late sixties/early seventies recordings but I think the quality of the actual songs was far better back then. Just my opinion of course.
Where is this from? Beat club maybe as they used chroma key a lot. It's a great version. Thanks for this and all the other great family clips. Great website too!
Back In History I don't think Beat Club as they never usually chroma keyed the floor. There was a Belgian show from this period that I think used to occasionally suspend their musicans in mid air via chroma key.
Unique. Why were they never a bigger band.
Extraordinary live performance …
Brilliant! Never seen this before - thank you
Great stuff. Always loved this song. Such a great blend of folk, rock and jazz. That end ..wow

I recall seeing family many times. One of my fave bands in late 60s....
very, very, very nice. Most excellent. Thanks for sharing.
First saw Family at the 1970 IOW festival, totally blown away! Roger was mental!
Glasgow kids loved him in Sauchiehall St(electric garden) In 1970! Thought he was, 'really out there.'

Modern recordings r digital overproduced middle class crap
flute and violin were supposed to be in the background to the excellent guitars drums and bass and Chappo
Crazee !!
Chapeau probably a direct descendent of Will Shakes… or Hamlet…. such a sense of Drama!
Rogers voice

the World would be better place i’d say Zepplin we’re a third less successful and Family and third more … it’s a crime they reside in obscurity
all that over reaction to freddy mercury…. really ! Roger all day!
The usual poor standard of camera work, I see.
