On a trip to a music college in Missouri, a conductor allowed me to conduct this song for him. It was a great experience, I'll never forget it. He then asked me if I were aspiring to become a conductor, because he said I was good at it. I told him I actually want to be an orchestra teacher. :D
i play violin and when me and my orchestra tried to play this song our teacher got so mad at us because we couldnt play it the first time through. This song sounds so cool but is actually kinda hard.
@@MissLilCuteTea fr😢,I play viola but wanna change to cello but I’d have to go back to beginning orchestra😢 edit: I started playing cello in march of this year (2022) after UIL and I didn’t have to go back to beginning orchestra laugh out loud😏😜🥱
Thebzchannel YEAAAH TEAM CELLO!!!!! I play cello LOL I remember in music class in fourth grade the teacher showed us a cello shes like "what's this?" and everyone was like "BASS!" and I was like "....dude that is a cello...."
Guys it doesn't matter what instrument you play, it's the music you make with it. Some instruments make different sounds, but that doesn't make one any better than the other.
#TeamStringOrchestra We're not a Symphony Orchestra, but hey! That's ok. We still sound amazing and no Orchestra would be good without us Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Bassist! We have to love each other and work together. No instrument is better. Coming from a Violinist 😊
Playing This In Class For An Ensemble Contest And When I Showed This To The Rest Of Them, Our First Violinist Threw Her Hands Up In Surrender. I'm Still Laughing.
Listen. I’m drunk. And a retired cellest. And this song was the first thing we played in orchestra camp (i was going into 7th grade i believe) and this is bringing back so many memories of times I loved and cherrished.
Memories😭... of my very first song as an orchestra player. I went to new school in 7th grade and I wanted to do the violin, so it was my first year. But the rest of my classmates knew since 5th grade. So they literally made me do the song when I didn’t know ANYTHING😂 memories lol
we are in quarantine bc of Covid-19 and i have to learn this without our teacher and we got it about a week before school had to shut down its fun but its hard. I play cello btw😩
Kayla J in my school the band room is all white and not just that there sort of weird but in orchestra is full of Asians lmao and others but... only two white kids 2 black kids and a couple of Mexicans kids and the rest of Asian I swear and there’s the singing (forgot) irrelevant.
I remember playing this for a concert so long ago. It was a grand piece to have at our final concert in middle school. That was my last year too. I remember it so well. I loved this piece so very much. I remember at first we violins along with violas had a hard time keeping up for a week or 2. It was so fun to play! #violinist
I was going to play this for all county with my music teacher but he lost his fight with COVID-19, he is with the lord conducting the angels, I’m a bass player, GO TEAM DOIBLE BASSES
My orchestra has a concert next month on this piece and a few others, we are kinda struggling, except for my bass buddy and I. And some of the violins I hate to admit. XD
I'm not. it's typical that violins are always being egotistical, and thinking they're the whole orchestra. And I can freely express my opinion. It's called the freedom of speech, it's a wonderful thing to have, thanks to our soldiers that fight for us to have to freedoms.
Zoe Yu as a violin player... Cellos need more spotlight. They sound SO. GOOD. While sure, violins are normally the loudest and heard for most of the song, we can't just have an all violin orchestra. Well, we can, except it wouldn't be the best without viola, cello, and bass players. Sadly, my orchestra teacher lacks a bass player.
Ah I'm far from that. I always miss lower strings when I practice at home because they really bring out the theme and flow of a song. With no Lower strings, violin high notes sound shrieky and weak XD Nowadays very few violins think that way, and frankly those that do are idiots. Remove one instrument and all the others just sound incomplete while playing. (I should know, our cellos were in a field trip this one time and the orchestra just sounded empty XD)
Ah i remember playing this seventh grade and its amazing how far I've gone I'm now a Junior and in Symphonic Orchestra which is the highest orchestra in my school.
Ahh! That seventh grade year! I remember it like it was yesterday! Even though it was like three years ago...and I am now in high school...I remember that the cellos were often slowing down a lot and the orchestra made a joke about it every time we played this piece....we were like "you don't have scales...you don't breathe fire....so stop dragon!" And we had this other piece called "Russian music box" and the violins often rushed and we made another joke that went like "you come from America, do stop Russian" now the official joke in high school is for the violas whenever they are slowing down to "Mufasa"
The bass and cello are awesome in this piece!
i play cello and its really fun to learn this song:)
Jonathan Yin I play bass and I'm playing this at the renaissance fait this year 🤗
agreed, because I played cello when I played this song in orchestra
Bass ftw
olivia martinez BASS GANG
I don't get how someone could hate this song...
Vicky Chen ii
We love hearing it, but almost everyone in my orchestra hates playing it
Its hard to play lol
It sucks to play
personally, I dislike it. -a first year, 7th grade orchestra player
I played this song in my 7th grade spring concert. By far my favorite viola piece, they actually get the melody for more than 2 measures.
Exacyly !
YESSSS
ong though
Omg same!
My crush played this for his senior concert. And he was also playing viola 😂
On a trip to a music college in Missouri, a conductor allowed me to conduct this song for him. It was a great experience, I'll never forget it.

good for you!
ꜱᴛᴇᴀᴍɪɴ' ʜᴏᴛ ɢᴀʀʙᴀɢᴇ ayy missouri🤘🤘
The song in itself isn't hard, for me it's the speed in which it's going
To me as it goes faster, it gets better
Exactly.
@@angelrios4078 yepppp
slower = worse but easier
faster = better but harder
I have to play this song in my orchestra and we play it so much slower so when I hear this it feels so weird
Playing this song this year!!! I'm a 7th grade viola!!! Viola rocks!!!!!!!
+Hailey Wolf me too! #viola4life!
ahhh hi
Hailey hi
Violinist but I have to say the violists do play a big part in an orchestra and they're pretty awesome, but violins are awesome too...😋

Love how everyone is just bragging about their instruments and don’t give 2 shits about the actual song :3
We played this song for a 7th grade concert at my school. I'm a violin 1 and this song is truly beautiful.
Same! I still have the music and ofc I still play it 😏
I got 3 weeks to learn this song on cello... Whoopee!

I play it on 1 violin and it's really difficult for us

Litzy Alferez i know how you feel im also 1st violin and its kinda hard because i was 2nd violin last year and the change is kinda hard
Ima a cello too i would say start slow thats how i got it c:
I CANNOT do the dang slurs so fast...
( Viola )
+Nightingale21 ITS pretty easy if you practice cx
I'm a viola player and it was really hard at first, just take it slow and gradually get faster and it'll get easier and really fun to play
I'm a violin player
Nightingale21 more you practice more you know, I couldn't do it at all now I can
Keep practicing! (Another viola here!) :D

I'm playing this for my spring concert. But as of now, we suck. We don't know much about doing vibrato and that's the bad part
Don't worry my schools orchestra was like that. Then it got better we would like the recording
the 1:48 will forever be my favorite part
So is mine!
Our orchestra teacher gave us music for this. Dear lord I wanna play like this. 🎻
And I also play thus violin.... am I alone or nah?
