One of the best moments of my life was a small group of my orchestra playing this song for practice, and the further we got in, the more people joined, and at the end the whole orchestra was playing it, too bad we had a sub that day, because we played it almost perfectly too Damn

i play the viola and just played this song and by far the viola has the hardest and funest part. and in this orchestra the second violins are way to loud
Can't say I have that problem, as my orchestra is only 13 people, none of whom are second violins. The violas are actually the largest section, with four people.

When I was in beginning orchestra we were going to play this but the church we were going to play in echoed to much...yeah, I guess it's still fun to play although we never got to perform it. I personally liked it whilst everyone else was glad to have it gone.(Although I do play cello, and my opinion bass clef gets the exciting parts in this particular song, I'm still disappointed)
