I’m going to be in the market for a sport touring bike next spring, I was hoping a 1300rs was coming early next year.

what are they going to do with r18’s ? All discontinued or just no 2025 models?

Highly doubt that as they have really built out the offerings under the R18 name. Seems all the boxers aren’t ready for public viewing yet except the R1300GS and GSA

I’m looking 1200R or RS with the Blue Frame and Lupin Blue bodywork if i find an RS. How has the reliability been with the 1250 shiftcam? For right price i may go 1250

I would go 1250, because not only do you get a better engine, but also the amazing TFT.

Thanks for this video! I see your point about BMW making a lot of GS models and I think certain models, I might add. I wonder if this will bite them in the butt or are those models selling in other markets. Regarding the RS depending on what they do to it I would take a look at it and my bike is not that old but I do like updated tech stuff and some better features. I do not know if I would go for a pure automatic version of the bike because shifting is part of the riding experience for me. What about you? I wish BMW made and RS version but with an inline 4 or 3 cylinder version but that is not there style. Have you test rode the sport bikes yet? Finally, I see they added that 600 miles service which I think is an excellent idea for a premium bike like this. I wish they would bring back the Telelever on the RS like they use to have it when it was a RS 1100. Thanks

I like having the clutch too. But I’d have to test ride it to see if I liked it or not. Yes I’ve test road BMW sport bikes. They are fun but not that comfortable for my back and their power is in the high rpms

They still haven't made anything that seduces me from my '77 RS or '79 RT

all we want is the 450gs

They should really make a lower cc sport bike. They are missing out on a number of entry level sport riders.

... because BMW has realized, that the 1250 RS is already nearly perfect ;-)

I'm really looking forward to testing out the 1300 with the clutchless ASA system. Not sure I would buy that, but can't say for certain until I try it out. I've heard it is amazing tech.
