I had never played a single Final Fantasy game in my life until FF7 Remake, and it’s all because of Maximilian Dood. Watching videos of him and Easy Allies loosing there damn minds to this game and seeing how FF7 has made this much of an impact on their lives made me finally nut up and play the game this past January. And I can now say that from the bottom of my heart I love this game to death. And I wouldn’t have taken the plunge on this game if it wasn’t for you guys. So with all of my heart I want to say thank you.
Play the OG. Seems kind of wild to play the remake first considering the game assumes that you have played the original with how the plot is structured and presented.
The passion max has for ff7 is great. Ff7 has and always will be my favorite video game of all time. So much of this remake gave me feelings of nostalgia and a blast of emotions. Ff7 was my escape from a bad world that was so unkind to see someone share that level of passion thrills me
When Max said that he hopes Part 2 ends at the Northern Crater visit, I remember the first plan of where and when Aerith dies. Aerith was still playable and has lines of dialogue left in the Climb to the Northern Crater part before they changed that part of the story in the Ancient City.
When Zack dies in Crisis Core, Aerith notices it and it's raining. At the end of Remake when Zack is pulling Cloud along, Aerith notices the steel sky and it's raining. Before Zack is at the church, Aerith notices it's raining and says she has a knot in her stomach. Barret says she's hungry, but ..........
But Zack being at the church isn't at the same time Aerith feeling weird, ofc it feels that way because the scenes are one after the other but Zack being outside of the church is like 2-3 days before Aerith leaves Midgar with Cloud and the others
I have a weird theory that when Aerith has that feeling in her stomach it’s at that moment when she dies in Zack’s timeline. Like a 6th sense that she died in the original timeline
@@LuisSR01 is it though? In VII Remake we saw the whispers going crazy around Midgar as Zack's supposed death scene plays out. If Zack's timeline and our party's timeline are in tandem from that reference point, Zack visiting the church could easily fit with the same timing of Aerith's hungry tum tum, and actually couldn't have happened 2/3 days earlier (since the Whispers are going crazy on the night that the party escape from Shinra tower/Midgar) Feels like everything is still very open-ended and that there are lot of possibilities for how Zack - and his potential paralell timeline - fits in with the main party's movements, so its tricky to place the relative timing for any of these events definitively.
@@LuisSR01 how do you know that? Its not stated anywhere why or when zach is outside the church. All we know is that the people inside are upset about something. I dont remember a single thing even pointing to "zach being at the church days before the party had left"
Technically Leslie and Kyrie aren't new characters for the remake, they come from the "Kids are Alright" novel by Nojima. :) Glad to see Max back for this though, thanks for doing this!
@@MrConeman oh interesting, so is it like a thing where they *could’ve* been around those same places in the original but they just weren’t present because they weren’t created yet? Or would you say that this is pretty much plopping them down in places that nobody would’ve thought to put them in before?
@@SSlash oh definitely the first one. They are putting them into the O.G timeline as if they were always there, but we just didn't see them originally. The novel does a few flash backs to when the plate was destroyed, and explains a lot about what Evan (main character) and Kyrie were doing in the aftermath. It's a really good read! So is On the Way To a Smile (which deals with all the o.g. party members and what they did between the o.g. and Advent Children)
@@MrConeman yeah I figured it was more so the first than the second haha that kinda stuff happens a LOT when any sorta prequel/sequel material is involved into any fictional works And wow they really have a novel about stuff directly post FF7? Now I’m curious, just how long after the original does AC take place anyways? And since I know AC isn’t the most popular thing ever, does that book actually handle the characters pretty well or is it pretty hit or miss with most of it too?
@@EnwickoteThey’ve all be absolutely incredible, but if I had to pick one. I’d say Briana White did the best job. Especially with such a dynamic character in Aerith, with so many emotions in her repertoire! She legit made me fall in love with Aerith’s character.
@@brookswilliams5239 Didn't Max meet the developers at one point? They specifically said that they looked at his reaction to the announcement of the game as inspiration.
@@Riggs_The_Roadie Yes, they specifically mentioned to him that the development team would watch his reaction video when they were feeling down about the development. He had a great (relatively short) video before the game came out where Max talked about that experience and what it meant to him.
I didn't feel that at all. We knew him for all of 12 seconds and knew he wasn't making it out of the game. A 10 second backstory isn't enough to suddenly make me care.
I feel that, just like with Sonen, they will let you choose three characters to play with three supporting characters. That would be epic! Six characters versus eight enemies. Probably six characters is too much. Maybe just one supporting character.
@47:00 my dream scenario is that they keep Zack stuff limited throughout the remake until we learn about Cloud’s memories. Only once we’ve had the Cloud reveal do we start to get Laguna-type playable Zack, either within remake or in a standalone sequel to remake that shows his alt timeline journey in full
Would be nice to make “teams” for your party and then toggle. Could have a cloud-tifa-red team then a Aerith-cid-yuffie team, and a barrett-vincent-cait sith team (or however you wanna make t)em) and then in real-time shift between your teams that you have depending on what you need. This way you can keep the overall battle system intact while also adding an ungodly number of potential party compositions
I would hope they let you dupe materia between non-active teams, otherwise that's a whole lot of grinding to get everyone's spells, buffs, and actions up to par. Like each pre-selected team has access to the entire material pool, and can use them the same time as characters in other parties.
I can already see what they are planning for the level design for the next game. They are going to give each character a unique exploration ability (e.g Cloud and Cid can jump high, Vincent and Yuffie can wallrun, Barret and Aerith can open/destroy obstacles etc.)
I have been thinking this since before release - that like maybe Red could slip into places and do obstacles that the rest of the party cannot, being smaller and four legged. I truly hope this is a thing!
yeah I think it that makes no sense to end there I feel like if they want to end it on a epic note it would be either aeriths death or the north creator. We begin with clouds false story and end with the real story makes more sense also new players would know who zack is.
@@gamingandrewbro8815 yeah but you gotta realize how much there is between Kalm and Nibelheim and there is much more before Aerith's death happens. I think the game will have 4 parts. And they can easily include totally new content. In the original the first Jenova fight was on the boat to costa del sol. In the remake you fight Jenova already in Midgar, but that was a new Jenova form. A new boss basically. So I think they will do the same with Nibelheim, where you fight another Jenova form or Sephiroth and Vincent will join the group at the end but he won't be playable just like red 13 in part 1
@@Amir_97 yeah let's agree to disagree this is only going be on ps5 which makes it way more easier then before. Also that would be more then 3 parts which would lose more money in the long run as a business standpoint it makes no sense. They know that most fans will not stick around for a 10 year long story. Plus just like part 1 they are most likely to past a few areas real quick plus in og you didn't stay in a few places for to long. sense there is no reason for filler anymore I doubt they will make places like the junnon and the chocobo place over a hour each. Plus they know how excited people are to see Vincent and Cid I doubt they would make us wait years just to play or see them. Also part 3 they could add a lot of there new elements cause I feel part 2 will be mostly og content. There's just many reasons to expect them to go further then just neiblehiem like that would feel very unsatisfying and they can't just throw in a other septhiroth or jenova fight to try to make it feel like a ending.
Max Dood was the first content creator to fire my synapses about the "it's a sequel not a remake" take about FF7R, so I'm glad you could get him to speak further on the INTERmission.
This was exactly my theory as well. The “remake” in the title is a bit of jebait as it makes you think it’s essentially a remaster of sorts for next gen consoles, but it’s actually an entire new game/sequel because of the new timeline created by Sephiroth.
An Empire Strikes Back kind of ending for Part II would be so awesome. I hope Max is right about where it will end, that would be sooo epic and for new players they'd lose their shit.
Especially if you see the weapons coming to life and escaping northern crater to head out into the world. No explanation just these huge terrifying epic monsters coming out of the ground.
46:40 I'm also thinking that Zack will probably become a Laguna situation. One thing I keep in mind is that the whole present day / past day timeline thing was originally a concept for FF7 before it got scrapped during development, and was then reused for Squall & Laguna in FF8. So having Cloud and Zack do something like that would be kind of like incorporating original concepts back into the remake. Obviously this isn't always a good idea, but it's not like they'd just be pulling it out of thin air.
I think it would be very novel to have another party Laguna-style, although I imagine they aren't going to develop unique, player-controlled combat styles for characters that weren't present in the OG game. I think the most likely scenario is that Zack shares Cloud's moveset and we get some guest characters or perhaps even party members with mechanics like Sonon, where they just give us access to a couple special attacks.
I wish Max had looked more into the ending before this discussion. Cause the Zack scene is clearly post-platefall. We know that bc the sector 7 plate is missing. 1:08:40 the loss thing is obviously but also we didn’t lose people we were supposed to with remake part 1. Biggs is confirmed alive, wedge probably alive since we didn’t visually see him die & Jessie might be alive. In fact they possibly “brought someone back from the dead” with Zack. So it’s not entirely true that people have to die like OG.
With Aerith at the end when she mentions that her "stomach feels like it's in knots". Maybe that's because she is physically starting to feel her death getting closer and closer as the story gets to that part.
Or...it could be that she's never left Midgar before and feels like her safety is taken away so she feels exposed and anxious? Imagine living in one town your whole life, never even so much as traveling outside of the town, so it's all you know. Do you think that maybe you'd feel at least a little bit sick to your stomach from anxiety if you were to actually leave? She even told Cloud that she tried to leave once, but couldn't, because it was "too much" for her to handle. Hence him asking her "gonna be okay?".
Or it could be she feels zacks present in the lifestream or “limbo” Aerith literally has this same connection in canon to the presence of those that have passed or are trying to pass, she tells elmyra in the OG that her husband came all the way to see her. I think they timeline stuff seems too obvious and is a red herring being exactly what SE planned for people to be talking about. They did exactly the same with cloud in the OG with telling and showing us with proof that cloud must be a soldier (mako eyes etc) then the reveal hits as intended. Basically, Cloud has mako eyes (only soldier have this)!the uniform etc so he must be soldier first class because that’s exactly what’s shown & Zach is shown alive in scenes so there must be another timeline as he can’t exist in the same timeline as cloud Both of these are the same thing but are blinding us from the actual truth.
Functionally, she’s got a long range weapon, a mix of damage and utility with her Limit Breaks. Once you get the Conformer she’s the best Morph abuser in the game, too.
Remember how quick it took them to make all the final fantasy 13 games . Thats whats keeping my hopes high . And I know not everyone likes 13 but still them games did have alot of stuff in them for how long all the games took to come out .
Ideal Part 2: Opens with flashback, alot of focus centered around gold saucer and open world. Chocobo-back combat system for the open world! Flush out Mt. Nibel, Mythril Mine, Corel, Cosmo Canyon, Junon, Temple of the Ancients, Snowy Fields and North Crater. Maybe 2-3 chapters each. End where Max says to right after North Crater. The flashback will have just been revisited but showing Sephiroths version where Cloud never actually existed. He falls in the lifestream, Weapons and Meteor are summoned, and Tifa and Barret look out the window in Junon to see Meteor, Shinra fighting all the weapons in the distance, and the planets crying. Credits Ideal Part 3: First half is collecting the four huge materia, Wutai sidequest, and fighting the Weapons. Emerald and Ruby will be kept as optional Super-Bosses. Flush out the revisit to the Temple of the Ancients with Bugenhagen, Mideel, and make the parachute back into Midgar at least a whole quarter of the game right before the final showdown at the N. Crater. Fit in any potential timelime convergence where necessary 🤙🏻 And I enjoy the concept of a Cloud, Zach, and Sephoroth vs. Jenova for a final boss after Bizarro/Safer/Shirtless Sephiroth.
I just had to come back here after seeing everything that we’ve seen for Rebirth the last few months. Jesus Christ Rebirth is looking freaking incredible!!!! The few gripes that I had in Remake look like they’ve not only been fixed, and that the bare minimum was done….it looks better than I ever could’ve hoped for!! The exploration and level design especially make Rebirth look like a completely different game. That’s not even made by the same team. This legitimately looks like this is one of those games that is so special. That it could potentially be one of those games that people will look at the same way they did with the original FF7. I have no doubt that this will become my favorite game of all time!!! The side quests as well already look incredible.
A thought that popped into my head is Zack shows up at The Forgotten City to save Aerith. Just as he embraces her, Sephiroth ends up running Aerith and Zack through together with his masamune in front of Cloud and the others.
My guess is that Cloud WILL manage to kill Aerith like how Sephiroth tried to have him in OG FF7. It will happen now, but Zack will be there to see it. You will fight Zack, kill him, and with his dying breath morphs to this version of Jenova-LIFE. Also, I'm betting that Sephiroth will kill Bugenhagen if he does know what's happening.
This was such a great discussions. Thank you guys for doing it. I agree that Zack stuff still isn't in this timeline. It just makes more sense for it to be a completely different timeline. I'm not sure if I'm with you guys on the next game being OW tho. I think the fact that they fast forwarded to Kalm shows that they are not doing open fields for the next game either. I can see the third or fourth game going that route tho. At any rate, really excited about FF7R Part 2. I also want you guys to know that after 20+ years, your first FF7R spoiler mode (and how good the game was tbh) finally pushed me to play the original FF7 for the first time earlier this year and I absolutely fell in love with it. So thank you guys for that as well. P.S: Now I just need some way to play Crisis Core on modern platforms. Come on Square, help me out here :)
“The reunion at hand may bring joy. It may bring fear. But let us embrace whatever it brings, for they are coming back.” Damn this quote from the reveal way back in 2015 is even more fitting now. Actually after playing the game and watching the reveal again, I’m not entirely sure that it is only talking about us as FFVII players. It kind of seems like it could be also alluding to the fact that it seems to be a sequel. The words of the narrator almost reminds me of the whispers themselves in that sense. Like they represent 2 things at once. 1. A voice for those waiting for FFVII. 2. An monologue from a character in the future of the compilation timeline. “After the long calm, there are now beginnings of a stir” Like what has happened to the world of FFVII? Something definitely has happened to bring us to remake, and it seems like this eludes to that. Never heard anyone talking about this. Does anybody else get that feeling from the remake reveal trailer after knowing how the game plays out? On a side note: although the original compilation made a point in telling us that Zack was strong willed enough to reject the influence that JENOVA cells have on him, what if this plot point comes back in a reveal that they actually CAN effect him. Zack may join the reunion for a huge revelation in the story.
I paused on 1 second. Because I haven’t played it yet. I just want to say that I appreciate the hell out of you to do the spoiler mode with max again and putting it out for free. Saved to “watch later” for after I’ve played it.
Max talking about wanting an ArcSys Final Fantasy Fighting Game, and here I am staring at my PSP copies of Dissida and Duodecim just wanting a proper sequel to those rather than the pared down Arcade game... Like dang, I'd even take a console port of them!
I played the hell outta that first Dissidia game, spent the time to learn all of Jecht's frame timings and everything. It came out when I was in college and half the guys in my dorm ended up getting it. There's just something about a damn good fighting game that brings people together. Fuck NT was disappointing.
Even though it's not exactly the same thing, Opera Omnia does help fill the void. I especially love how there's so many character interactions in that game.
Genesis along with Weiss and Nero were both still alive in Midgar while Sephiroth was running around with Jenova’s body so it’s kinda hard to deny their existence in the lore.
OG ff7 party always included yuffie because of doom of the living. You at that point reach the 9999 wall so you use limits that can hit many times, Omnislash and Doom were the top 2 and they were always in my party. It was Level3 so that made it happen faster too, which was nice.
Yuffie was a permanent part of my party ever since I first played FF7 in my freshman year of high school. Similar stats to Aerith AND Tifa, long range attacks, good limit breaks, Doom of The Living included. Hell, I could probably SOLO the original game with Yuffie.
I can't imagine how painful it would be grinding for sources to boost your stats further after you hit lv 99 without Yuffie. Between the morphing, Doom of the living and her ultimate weapon having no negative damage modifiers she's super strong I always keep her in the party.
I came for Max, but was pleasantly surprised and impressed by how the guy on the right helped lead the discussion, and how the guy on the left had great complimentary discussion.
My one small hope with Zack is that at some point, he interacts with Tseng, and maybe the other Turks too. I think it would be the perfect bit of world-building where perhaps he has a conversation with him asks Tseng what happened to Cissnei, and then you have the perfect way for them to bring up the events of BC/CC as far as what happened with the rest of the Turks.
I cannot believe we're only 3 days away from greatness... It feels like it's been a lifetime and no time at all.. And yet I'm here thinking how the hell we're going to survive for another 4-5 years for the next part...
Is it possible that the world where Zack, Biggs and Jessie are alive is the afterlife? All the people in the church are the people who died from the plate falling.
It is sad I used to have friends I would have these conversations with. We would stay up and joke around and talk about this stuff. That part of my life is over now, my friends and I havw all grown up and have other responsibilities and has taken this away. This is the closest I get to that anymore. I love these moments and I cherish that time I had with my friends. This is as close as I can get anymore.

Ff7 was my escape from a bad world that was so unkind to see someone share that level of passion thrills me
I JUST watched the first one with max on FF7R yesterday! Great timing!
any spoiler mode with Maximillian dood and Final fantasy VII in the same title is going to be one hell of a banger! =D
Facts
"Genesis is gonna be sitting on the side eating a dumb apple" that got me going
When Max said that he hopes Part 2 ends at the Northern Crater visit, I remember the first plan of where and when Aerith dies. Aerith was still playable and has lines of dialogue left in the Climb to the Northern Crater part before they changed that part of the story in the Ancient City.
Theory: Fort Condor was developed by Shinra to get a large sample of strategies from its citizens on how to infiltrate Fort Condor
I thought the exact same thing! Imagine the heartbreak when you realize how you played into their hands by having fun playing a minigame!
@@zleepyeyez and then you have to play an in-game irl version of Fort Condor to stop them.
Oo that's a good one. Enders Game shit
I really can't wait to see how/if they do the og first meeting between Cloud & Co. and Yuffie.
But what? Finish the thought.
If Zack's timeline and our party's timeline are in tandem from that reference point, Zack visiting the church could easily fit with the same timing of Aerith's hungry tum tum, and actually couldn't have happened 2/3 days earlier (since the Whispers are going crazy on the night that the party escape from Shinra tower/Midgar)
Feels like everything is still very open-ended and that there are lot of possibilities for how Zack - and his potential paralell timeline - fits in with the main party's movements, so its tricky to place the relative timing for any of these events definitively.
@@LuisSR01 how do you know that? Its not stated anywhere why or when zach is outside the church. All we know is that the people inside are upset about something. I dont remember a single thing even pointing to "zach being at the church days before the party had left"
“On your left” … Zack walks through the portal to assist Cloud. 😂
Hahahhahahaha
Pfffff! That would as amazing as the teenage mutant ninja turtles reference in the DLC
@@strelitziamystery21 ha! Glad someone else noticed that
With the writers we have now I don't doubt that.
Bless the algorithm. I forgot about this and I finally finished the DLC. I can't get enough of Max talking about FF7.
Episode Yuffie was waaaay better than I expected, specially the ending. It was a blast to play.
Technically Leslie and Kyrie aren't new characters for the remake, they come from the "Kids are Alright" novel by Nojima. :)
Glad to see Max back for this though, thanks for doing this!
Their placements and who they’re interacting with absolutely is new though, right?
@@SSlash yeah pretty much, the Nojima book is set after the events of O.G, so Remake is actually a look into Kyrie and Leslie's past.
@@MrConeman yeah I figured it was more so the first than the second haha that kinda stuff happens a LOT when any sorta prequel/sequel material is involved into any fictional works
And wow they really have a novel about stuff directly post FF7? Now I’m curious, just how long after the original does AC take place anyways? And since I know AC isn’t the most popular thing ever, does that book actually handle the characters pretty well or is it pretty hit or miss with most of it too?
FF7 content is hands down the best shit every. Max is so good
The voice actor for Yuffie, suzie leung was it?
DID EXCELLENT JOB BRINGING YUFFIE TO LIFE!!
yeah!
I agree, best one of all remake voice Cast hands down
Susie Yeung but yeah, she was seriously perfectly casted
@@EnwickoteThey’ve all be absolutely incredible, but if I had to pick one. I’d say Briana White did the best job. Especially with such a dynamic character in Aerith, with so many emotions in her repertoire!
She legit made me fall in love with Aerith’s character.
Easy Allies and Max Dood team ups are the best team ups
Max was right about the REBIRTH subtitle for part 2!
I really hope Square is watching these and taking notes.
I guarantee that they definitely are lol
@@brookswilliams5239 Didn't Max meet the developers at one point? They specifically said that they looked at his reaction to the announcement of the game as inspiration.
@@Riggs_The_Roadie yes I believe seeing something like that a couple of years ago before the game released
@@Riggs_The_Roadie Yes, they specifically mentioned to him that the development team would watch his reaction video when they were feeling down about the development. He had a great (relatively short) video before the game came out where Max talked about that experience and what it meant to him.
Take notes of what exactly
Not gonna lie, Sonons death and flashbacks that happened when he was dying made me cry. Mainly the music
Totally agree man
We all knew it was coming but boyyyy it still hit you like a fricken train. The flashbacks made the impact hard
I got a feeling were going to see more of sonon in part 2... since nomura likes to play timelines and such....
I didn't feel that at all. We knew him for all of 12 seconds and knew he wasn't making it out of the game. A 10 second backstory isn't enough to suddenly make me care.
@@Badalight I felt it when I used him the entire game.
My guy The Maximum Dood. Going to watch this as I eat my breakfast this morning.
@@spiraljumper74So the junction swapping from FF8.
I can already see what they are planning for the level design for the next game.
They are going to give each character a unique exploration ability (e.g Cloud and Cid can jump high, Vincent and Yuffie can wallrun, Barret and Aerith can open/destroy obstacles etc.)
That sounds fucking amazing I hope this ages well
I have been thinking this since before release - that like maybe Red could slip into places and do obstacles that the rest of the party cannot, being smaller and four legged.
I truly hope this is a thing!
Dont think so but could be a nice idea
Sephiroth can traverse downward into Aerith at high velocities
@@KhrektheDrek I wish I could.
5:25 Barret shooting boxes was pretty fun too.
Maybe Fort Condor was created by Fort Condor to help fund their troops against Shrina
I bet that part 2 will end at Nibelheim, coming full circle from the flashbacks at the start. Then we'll get a Vincent DLC while waiting for part 3.
I think it would be a mistake to only add 2 new party members. I hope the party is complete by the end of part 2.
@@DemonLordSparda *3 new party members. Yuffy, Cait Sith and Red 13 as he was not playable yet
yeah I think it that makes no sense to end there I feel like if they want to end it on a epic note it would be either aeriths death or the north creator.
*Easy Allies and Max shooting ideas*
FF7R Devs: "WRITE THIS DOWN"
Max Dood was the first content creator to fire my synapses about the "it's a sequel not a remake" take about FF7R, so I'm glad you could get him to speak further on the INTERmission.
This was exactly my theory as well. The “remake” in the title is a bit of jebait as it makes you think it’s essentially a remaster of sorts for next gen consoles, but it’s actually an entire new game/sequel because of the new timeline created by Sephiroth.
Oh here we go again…I’m ready for the levels this time
This was a drop from the heavens, thank you.
also ROCHE ROCHE ROCHE
ROCHE ROCHE ROCHE
It’s funny listening to this now and hearing a bunch of stuff yall talked about ended up being in the new game lol. Love it!
Max literally points out the beginning to the game lol 55:06
What's the source of this stuff or did you make it?
I wish Max had looked more into the ending before this discussion. Cause the Zack scene is clearly post-platefall. We know that bc the sector 7 plate is missing.
1:08:40 the loss thing is obviously but also we didn’t lose people we were supposed to with remake part 1. Biggs is confirmed alive, wedge probably alive since we didn’t visually see him die & Jessie might be alive. In fact they possibly “brought someone back from the dead” with Zack. So it’s not entirely true that people have to die like OG.
I could listen to yall talk about FF7 all day. Miss you Ben
@@nikkilengyel Thank you 🙄
Or it could be she feels zacks present in the lifestream or “limbo” Aerith literally has this same connection in canon to the presence of those that have passed or are trying to pass, she tells elmyra in the OG that her husband came all the way to see her. I think they timeline stuff seems too obvious and is a red herring being exactly what SE planned for people to be talking about. They did exactly the same with cloud in the OG with telling and showing us with proof that cloud must be a soldier (mako eyes etc) then the reveal hits as intended.
Basically,
Cloud has mako eyes (only soldier have this)!the uniform etc so he must be soldier first class because that’s exactly what’s shown
&
Zach is shown alive in scenes so there must be another timeline as he can’t exist in the same timeline as cloud
Both of these are the same thing but are blinding us from the actual truth.
i got the sense that zack walked in on people crying the morning after the plate drop. they are refugees, and he is shocked because aerith isnt there
I used Yuffie in my main party, didn't think that was unusual lol.
Functionally, she’s got a long range weapon, a mix of damage and utility with her Limit Breaks. Once you get the Conformer she’s the best Morph abuser in the game, too.
Cloud, Cid and Yuffie is a very popular late game team with them all having super strong limit breaks Max is projecting his echo chamber.
Remember how quick it took them to make all the final fantasy 13 games . Thats whats keeping my hopes high . And I know not everyone likes 13 but still them games did have alot of stuff in them for how long all the games took to come out .
I shall be back once I have the pleasure of playing Intermission. Otherwise, here is a thumbs up ahead of time.
That music and that outro.... just sitting in storage somewhere for all these years......Finally released. AMAZING
Watching this almost 1 year later... damn, I really hope we'll see it this "E3"
Both of my favorite game channels collabing again over my favorite game. Please continue doing these >_>
Ideal Part 2: Opens with flashback, alot of focus centered around gold saucer and open world. Credits
Ideal Part 3: First half is collecting the four huge materia, Wutai sidequest, and fighting the Weapons.
I'm in for this. Gonna support Max
Love the first part. Guess I'm in for a ride.
@@theemms5288 I don't remember how Bugen originally died. Old age or something?
@@shawnfarmer1066 he got a sickness that eventually killed him if my memory serves correct
Max needs to fukn do a podcast and theorycraft on ff7 remake every week!
Finally!! Its already 1:32am and instead of sleeping, im gonna spend the next hour watching this. Something to dream of.
My favorite yt channels collab again, Nice.
“The reunion at hand may bring joy. It may bring fear. But let us embrace whatever it brings, for they are coming back.”
Damn this quote from the reveal way back in 2015 is even more fitting now.
“After the long calm, there are now beginnings of a stir”
Like what has happened to the world of FFVII? Something definitely has happened to bring us to remake, and it seems like this eludes to that.
Never heard anyone talking about this.
Does anybody else get that feeling from the remake reveal trailer after knowing how the game plays out?
On a side note: although the original compilation made a point in telling us that Zack was strong willed enough to reject the influence that JENOVA cells have on him, what if this plot point comes back in a reveal that they actually CAN effect him. Zack may join the reunion for a huge revelation in the story.
And now I'm super hyped for final fantasy vii remake 2 :D
Dude. What a way to wake up this morning! Love it!!!
I paused on 1 second. Because I haven’t played it yet. I just want to say that I appreciate the hell out of you to do the spoiler mode with max again and putting it out for free. Saved to “watch later” for after I’ve played it.
I was in your place a few weeks ago and after holding out couldn't wait anymore and just took the $1k hit for a PS5. Well worth it to me.
Props for bringing back Max! The Spoiler Mode for the original Game... I mean the original Remake is my favorite video of yours!
If this keeps happening for all Final Fantasy VII Remake, that would be awesome!
HOLY CRAP!!!! Thanks for this Easy Allies and Max!
So glad you guys got max for this! Wish Ben had played it and joined in
La la la...la la...la la la la la la , my favourite part of intermission. Yuffies theme never fails to put a smile on my face.
Max talking about wanting an ArcSys Final Fantasy Fighting Game, and here I am staring at my PSP copies of Dissida and Duodecim just wanting a proper sequel to those rather than the pared down Arcade game... Like dang, I'd even take a console port of them!
Fucking A. Those two games are so damn great and the fact that its jump to consoles was so subpar is really depressing.
Real talk just port Duodecim, it has Dissidia 1 in it already. Add online matches with good netcode and it’s free money.
@@maxspecs I'd pay $60 USD EASY
i love how people are trying its best to deny Genesis, but Deepground early development just confirms that Genesis is captured somewhere in Midgar
Genesis along with Weiss and Nero were both still alive in Midgar while Sephiroth was running around with Jenova’s body so it’s kinda hard to deny their existence in the lore.
Yeah he is, no ones denying he doesn't exist somewhere in the world of ff7. They just think he wont appear in the remake
The best way to acknowledge Genesis without putting him in Nibelheim would be to hide a dumbapple somewhere in the reactor, just as an Easter egg
Captured? There is no evidence of him being captured.
Max finally figured out how to blur his background! 😆
Dual tech with barret and vincent. The gunslinger combo. Yes plz.
I didn’t expect max to be back for the Intermission, what a great surprise! Thanks for this, guys! L&R
talking about cloud and doing enviroment stuff, the game literaly starts with him acrobatic jumping off a train. So I think he's fine in that part :)
Same for me. I'm super hyped!
1:11:35 - Tim Rogers has momentarily possessed Max, to join in on the conversation.
