Large Industrial Fire in Cannock

At approximately 06:15am on the 9th of May 2024 fire crews where called to the scene of a large industrial fire at Super Smart Service in Cannock a Large distribution centre, the site was approximately the size of two football pitches (38,000 square foot).
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service where supported in the attempts to put out the blaze by there colleagues from West Midlands Fire Service and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service.
At the time of the initial call more than 60 firefighters along with specialist appliances where deployed to the scene to help tackle the fire many evacuations took place of surrounding bossiness.
We can confirm nobody was inside and a full evacuation of the premise did take place and no reported injuries have been made of blue light workers or members of the public.

10 pumps in not much of an attendance for a fire of this scale. I can only guess the fire service knew the building was a total loss, and treated it more as a control burn.

It's iqned by Super Smart Service, who are a Chinese import parcel company.
