- Hey guys Welcome back to the channel. And this week we will be discussing pacific rim! The series has been seeing quite the resurgence and I think that I wanna throw my hat into the verse more specifically from a power scaling perspective. So I figured that I would put the evangelions up against Iconic Kaiju from pacific rim like leatherback, slattern and even the mighty mega kaiju! Will put eva pilot’s be ripped apart or will they have no trouble in canceling the apocalypse!? be sure to watch and find out! This is off topic but I have some more ideas for character Solo scenario.
1. Can the TERMINATOR beat every movie slasher from Michael myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Pennywise, or even Five nights at Freddy animatronics.
2. Can Zilla jr beat the Pacific rim kaiju.
3. Can ROBOCOP beat the T1000 from TERMINATOR 2 or can ROBOCOP beat an entire army of T800 TERMINATOR models or can ROBOCOP survive the TERMINATOR future war.
The first option is my favourite

Pacific Rim is simply "too epic" for the Evas to exist in, therefore the Evas and their pilots will evaporate instantly. Especially when you consider Pacific Rim's lack of a sequel movie, which most likely would've ignored everything that made the original so great and ruin the name.
Eva has it’s fair share of epic moments too, I understand this is obviously a joke but still, that fight against zeruel with unit 1 was actually fire

I do not recommend using calculations that contradict the franchise. Literally in the same movie they tell us that the bomb on Striker's back was 1.2 megatons, that's not even close to mountain level.

MY ANALYSIS: Evangelion units is more powerful, stronger and agile while Jaegers have better weaponry but EVA units biggest advantage is the fact that they are actually giant cyborg, engineered from DNA of powerful cosmic being and bit sentient
But what make me still questioning it is The Precursors keep engineering a stronger and more powerful kaiju that may be able to rival EVA units eventually

...mama Yui didn't come out huh...plus they didn't even use their more esoteric abilities such as their AT based attacks. Which only Angels can counteract...and forget Unit-01, she's straight up God by the end...
Evangelions are very strong than they look like the unit-1 lifted an angel which weighed 2.5 million tons (I don’t remember Angels name) and when the angel died it exploded and that explosion was mountain lvl- continental and the Eva’s survived it and it wasn’t in berserk mode and Eva-1 literally destroyed a angel which had no physical body it was its own dimension and Eva-1 just ripped through the angels own universe there are way more feats but I can’t say them all also Eva can pretty much beat all godzillas (on screen ones no comic/fan made)Eva’s are a league of its own Eva-1 is a momma bear when it comes to shinjis life so it will rip and tear through anyone or anything to save its child

The Eva’s could. Goji chronic made it clear how powerful they where already and none of the jaegers or kaiju will be able to beat a single one. This is my opinion so pls don’t get angry :).

Hey Goji chronic there’s been a matchup being thrown around the internet which is Homelander from the boys vs Adam from hazbin hotel and I’m wondering on who do you think wins more often than not. you know, Japanese anime is always made a character with too much power. I mean, Evangelion uses a 14 year old child to control a giant robot by himself, whereas Pacific Rim requires two people who are even older. that's no longer unreasonable. But I think Pacific Rim is a more reasonable American version of Evangelion.
America doesn't need to make over power character like what Japanese anime makes because they destroyed Japan in the real world during World War II.

Doesn't Stacker Pentecost directly state that Striker's bomb is equivalent to 1.2 million tonnes of TnT, considered small city level by VSBW, so I don't know where this continental scaling comes from.
Also Slattern survives Striker's Bomb not Gypsy's so I don't think you can compare them.
Even if Strike'rs bomb was multicontinental, why would it not have wiped Earth?
The spear which hit Asuka was thrown by a mass production model so I don't know if that actually scales to Rei killing Arael.
Just a note to those who haven't watched evangelion.
This fight is heavily dependent on the head space of the pilots, so I think it best to have them at their most component (No Arael mind hax)
This fight is also a bit iffy, because the Eva's have a battery if we don't assume that they have S2 drives or umbilical cables, and whether they even get all the equipment in the geofront like their palate rifles and progressive knives.
Also Eva's durability should be at a baseline higher than a nuke because of AT Fields.
If you really want to wank then Eva's could have universal scaling as Eva 01 destroyed Liliel from the inside out, where the Eva was stated to be held in an alternate universe made of imaginary numbers called the Dirac Sea.
Eva's could have durability negation if we follow their lore with the Spear of Longinus
Berserk Eva 01 could start an impact which basically just ends the world so...
Also a berserk eva 01 clowned on Zeruel who is stated to have the strongest AT field of any angel which should include Ramiel who needed to be shot with a positron rifle powered by all of Japan (idk how much energy that is but whatever).
Iffy thing about AT fields is that it could mean that the Kaiju's literally can't hurt them no matter what they do, but as a baseline they should effectively be completely nuke proof.

yes the evas are smoking the kaiju pack for two or more reasons.
1. the kuijus in pacfic rim don't have at fleids meaning they don't have sheilds while the evas have them
2. well they can adapt and stuff to some of the actual magazine in the movie they are simply not intelligent enough unlike the angles, hell some Angels have shown some degree of intelligence, and even the ability to communicate with humans.

You got the category of trespasser wrong he isn't category 1. he's a category 3. also 1 eva can solo the whole universe. With it's at field, they are invincible. Also, Striker Eureka's explosion technically isn't self-destruction but just a bunch of bombs. Because at the beginning of the movie, staker pentecost said that the jaegers are going to be carrying 4. Somethin gigaton bomb, I think that how much it was.
