Kinda clickbait title, mostly my opinion. There are a lot of Evangelions in the series, most are pretty cool, some are not. Not all Evangelions are created equally.
Idk, I feel like it put up a good fight. It literally tore all the others to shreds. If it wasn't for regen abilities it would have won. And in the end unit 3 only died so quick cause its AT field was down

@Chris J The scale they're portrayed is really inconsistent, but Unit-01 is confirmed around 75 meters, in the Rebuild at least. The Statue of Liberty is 93m for reference.
They are bigger than colossal titan from AOT which is 60 meters. Whereas colossal titan moves slowly and excrete heat because of its size, eva is bigger but more athletic and can move faster/jump higher
I think eva 02 is the most practically useful. Like if you woke up and had to jump into one all of a sudden and fight . It’s the most versatile and usable by anyone. 01 has a track record of not allowing anyone else to use it except shinji and if you’re too compatible you might go god mode so there’s that. But 01 in shinji hands is the greatest .
Exactly. Why else would it still be in service all the way through until 3.0+1.0, even after losing multiple limbs and eyes? It makes me wonder why EVA 01/Yui seems to be the only one who's picky about the pilot. Why not just let anyone in? It's not like they can do anything to the soul inside anyway, so what's the point of losing it when someone else gets in?

@@Ultra04channel Shinji is her son, as a mother I can understand her protectiveness of wanting only Shinji her son to pilot unit 01. As for Unit 02, it was the first Eva created that was solely for combat. Unit 00 was just the prototype, while unit 01 was the test type.

What are you talking about? The EVA's aren't compatible with anyone other than their respective pilots. They're literally syncronised as mother and child.
its my favorite eva bc the mass produced evas look so fucking neat their bananas heads are so fucking frightening and the fact they just get up after asuka kicks their asses is so cool
my personal favourite has always been Unit 00 for many reasons, firstly because it's piloted by Rei and Rei is my favourite character. But also because out of all the Evas, Unit 00 is the most mysterious and volatile and unstable, probably because it was the prototype, but it seems to be the hardest to control, it has lost control and gone berserk several times during test runs, first with Rei then with Shinji when it tried to sync up to it but it rejected Shinji, while Rei was able to sync with Unit 01 during the test. Unit 00 is only compatible with Rei because Rei seems to be the only pilot that it would sync to, probably because it contains the soul of Rei I inside it, it's the only Eva out of the 3 main Evas that has never revealed its beast mode, which adds to its mysteriousness. And yes like you said, as the prototype Unit 00 is probably the most durable Eva ever build for it to last so long even though it's just a prototype. Most fans probably think unit 00 is the "weakest" Eva because it was the prototype thus it's not as technologically advanced as the later newer units. But I think its mysteriousness and volatile and unstable nature makes it so appealing to me, to me Unit 00 is the most interesting Eva out of them all, it's my favourite. But I love Unit 01 too, Unit 01 is obviously the strongest Eva, and it's the only Eva that was made from Lilith, making it the only Eva capable of transcending, all the other Evas were made from Adam. After Unit 00, Unit 01 is my second favourite.
Unit 13 always seemed kinda strange, the weird yellow “eyelashes” and the front chest armor was kinda strange. But it doesn’t matter because those 4 arms makes it look really good. Still in my option it’s unit 01 all the way.
I still prefer unit 01. OG anime model. I just feel like 13 doesn’t look as interesting especially with the simplified designs of 3.0, even removing the arm guards on the Eva’s and making the torso less skinny then we’re in the first 2 rebuilds movies.
I’ll happily wait to watch the movie blind unlike the entirety of new fans who I see watching clips of movies they haven’t seen wondering wtf is happening
@@DaiSenshiMounir oh, that's definitely a great option, the new EVA movie will be a GREAT ride of emotions. But it doesn't really make so much difference watching the revealed footage or not because the movie is very long (fourth longest animated movie of all time) and the Rebuild trailers are infamous for only focusing on the spectacle and heavy action scenes, most of 3.0 marketing was focused on a single scene and they usually hide stuff like the DSS Chocker and background to not spoil so much about the plot, the liberty of the marketing from animated medium is pretty high.

I will say that I disagree with your opinion. From what I’ve seen, most Evas have a mouth, even though we don’t see it, you can see that the Mark.06 has a seam line where it could have a mouth, hell, even Unit 08 has a mouth. In my opinion, MPE’s are very strange, even though Evangelion has been known to be weird, but the MPE’s are all a different type of weird

Because of that it was able to start the 4th impact and same thing can be said in the end of 2.22, Eva unit01 has 1 of 4 Adam's within the Eva and that's why with its fight against Zeruel when the Eva ran out of power and lost its arm it was able to regenerate that arm back and have Godly type of power because of the Adam's so at that point it was Shinji determination, will and the help of the Adam's to defeat Zeruel and to start the 3rd impact and samething can be said in the beginning of 3.33

I consider myself to be intermediate to expert level on Eva lore and I completely forgot about Eva-06 until watching this video. You're right, it really serves no purpose in the overall story. For some reason I remembered the moon building sequence in 2.0 as that being Eva-13, the dual entry plug one that Kaworu & Shinji use in 3.0.
Yeah Eva 13 is great but i like the Eva 01 more and i thing the Eva 01 will come back at the last movie because i just thing Misato lied to him that its a engine for the Wunder and his synchronization is 0% then how the fuck did he piloted Eva 13

Me personally, I really like EVA 03 and 04, (04 mostly) their design is just so cool and they have cool abilities, its a shame their not that important. heck 04 never even showed up anywhere outside of video games (04 is also piloted by Kaworu aka the best character)

1. Yes, if you haven't seen the rebuild tetralogy (the 4th movie will come in January 21st this year) you missing a lot. Well technically these movies set in alternative reality from the series but still. 2. Unit05 & unit08 piloted by Makinami Mari (the caffeine-overdosed-glasses-girl), unit06 piloted by kaworu, unit09 piloted by Ayanami Rei III, unit13 piloted by shinji & kaworu. As for unit07, 10, 11, & 12 they were never explained. 3. The gang still piloting except touji (he's still dead tho) asuka replacing touji's role of piloting eva03 in 2nd movie. Asuka back in 3rd movie piloting modified unit02 (the alpha & beta variant) Edit: the weird 9 mass produced got escalated in these movies. They had more variation in the 3rd movie & even crazier form in the 4th movie's teaser.

There was no “best Evangelion”. All of them were horrid monstrosities designed as a means to an end against eldritch gods beyond comprehension. It was all just part of the plan to put an end to David, the Angels, and their horrors by means of the Instrumentality.
It’s weird to think that if shinji wasn’t a depressed 14 year old but an adult, that didn’t have serious daddy issues, he would’ve been the best pilot and saved the planet.

I consider myself to be intermediate to expert level on Eva lore and I completely forgot about Eva-06 until watching this video. You're right, it really serves no purpose in the overall story. For some reason I remembered the moon building sequence in 2.0 as that being Eva-13, the dual entry plug one that Kaworu & Shinji use in 3.0.

@@mshigh7004 ???? Misato didn't lie,,, misato wasn't even the one that told him lol... It was ritsuko, and she checked stats, so they weren't lying. After third impact during the time skip, unit 01 was probably not usable to begin with.

Me personally, I really like EVA 03 and 04, (04 mostly) their design is just so cool and they have cool abilities, its a shame their not that important. heck 04 never even showed up anywhere outside of video games (04 is also piloted by Kaworu aka the best character)

Unit 3 grew two additional arms in the Rebuild movies when it fought Unit 1. That has to count for something.
I just found your channel and am really enjoying your content. One sliiight suggestion though: You might wanna invest in a pop filter. Your mic is decent, but with a pop filter the quality would be a lot better.
I legit thought there were only 4 evas and the weird 9 white ones. Have I missed something? Who pilots the other ones? Still shinji and the gang?
1. Yes, if you haven't seen the rebuild tetralogy (the 4th movie will come in January 21st this year) you missing a lot. Well technically these movies set in alternative reality from the series but still.
2. Unit05 & unit08 piloted by Makinami Mari (the caffeine-overdosed-glasses-girl), unit06 piloted by kaworu, unit09 piloted by Ayanami Rei III, unit13 piloted by shinji & kaworu. As for unit07, 10, 11, & 12 they were never explained.
3. The gang still piloting except touji (he's still dead tho) asuka replacing touji's role of piloting eva03 in 2nd movie. Asuka back in 3rd movie piloting modified unit02 (the alpha & beta variant)
Edit: the weird 9 mass produced got escalated in these movies. They had more variation in the 3rd movie & even crazier form in the 4th movie's teaser.

All of them were horrid monstrosities designed as a means to an end against eldritch gods beyond comprehension. It was all just part of the plan to put an end to David, the Angels, and their horrors by means of the Instrumentality.
It’s weird to think that if shinji wasn’t a depressed 14 year old but an adult, that didn’t have serious daddy issues, he would’ve been the best pilot and saved the planet.
The series should have lasted longer, so we could've seen more Evas and their pilots. Also, more angels and possibly demons.
