    Orange Cake Ingredients:
    300 grams Plain Flour
    2 teaspoons Baking Powder
    1/4 teaspoon Salt
    180 ml Sugar
    2 teaspoons Orange Zest
    180 ml Fresh Orange Juice
    2 Eggs (at room temperature)
    180 ml Vegetable Oil
    1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    Orange Glaze Ingredients:
    120 grams Sugar
    1 teaspoon Orange Zest
    2 teaspoons Orange Juice
    Instructions:
    1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease and flour a cake pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
    2. Prepare Dry Ingredients:
    In a medium bowl, whisk together the plain flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
    3. Mix Wet Ingredients:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar and orange zest. Rub the zest into the sugar with your fingers to release the oils.
    Add the fresh orange juice, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
    4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the cake tough.
    5. Bake the Cake:
    Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
    Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
