This process will be similar to all trucks with ISX ISX 15 engines
Kenworth peterbilt international Volvo Freightliner
The symptoms of the fault are:
Low DEF pressure
Low emissions efficiency
Check engine light on
Red stop light on
Tools needed:
13 mm wrench
27 mm socket
1/2 drive short extension
1/2 drive ratchet
Parts needed
DEF filter UF101

I'll just add. You don't have to remove the access cover to do this service. You have two bolts closest to the tank. I loosen those. Remove the third bolt and let it hinge down.
Do you know how to remove the side panel to get to the def tank on a peterbilt 579
@@rahmanrucker4408. By side panel do you mean the aero side skirt. No I do not know how to remove those. I just crawl around to the def tank.

I'm averaging 7.5 Cummins isx 450 on a good day 8.5
It’s normal for Trucks that work at oil fields and haul frac sands to get low mpg cause of the heavy weight and the road conditions
