Desire expressed time spent attention divided.
Wheres the unity in writing it?
Here is some time and attention in an attemp to apeal to that beyond currency fellow traveler.
Whilst giving attention to the creator of this video even though I have only hear a minute of it thus far.
      Expressions of currency?

Thank you for providing a brief overview of the book's content. Among all the other books of this type that have received all the attention, this one is truly unique. I really appreciate the extra advice at the end!

*The Screwing of the Average Man* (1974) by David Hapgood
*The Tyranny of Words* (1938) by Stuart Chase
George Orwell mentioned Chase in an essay about politics. He wrote the book, A New Deal, shortly before FDR's famous speech. He was a member of FDR's brain trust.

Silent mode can be set from (for example) 9a to 8a. That means 1hr a day colleagues, friends and family can reach you directly, otherwise, straight to vm or email inbox to be dealt w the next 8a-9a. Train your world to interact with you on your terms. It absolutely ANGERS so many who fail to manage their own environs. (Side note, set up special contact number that bypass silent if you are a parent who has kids in school-they always need to be able to reach you)

Consider reading "the power of now" by ekhart tolle. It's a similar book about owning your mind but with more spirituality. Before reading it didn't give much consideration to spiritual thinking but this book really changed my perspective on life. Highly recommended for everyone
    Also btw great video!

Helpful information; however, it’s interesting you mentioned in the beginning of the video about it not being clickbait meanwhile the thumbnail has an arrow and text stating it’s a “rare book.”
The book doesn’t appear to be rare as it is readily available and accessible online which personally seems to undermine the whole clickbait comment.

Also Kant talks about this. He basically talks about enlightment, as his definition for enlightment is owning your mind and thinking independently.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:28 *💡 Socrates wanted to teach critical thinking to ancient Athenians, even if it killed him.*
01:11 *🤝 Before arguing, clarify underlying definitions and assumptions to ensure a productive discussion.*
02:06 *🗣️ Vastly different definitions of terms like "socialist", "capitalist", "left-wing", "right-wing" can make political arguments unproductive from the outset.*
03:29 *❓ Ask under what circumstances you or your interlocutor would change your mind to establish if it's a good faith discussion.*
05:05 *🕵️ Asking clarifying questions about someone's position can expose flaws in their argument without putting them on the defensive.*
07:52 *🧠 Distinguish between causes (emotional/pragmatic factors) and reasons (logic/arguments) for someone's beliefs.*
10:43 *👓 Consider alternative perspectives by imagining how your view might change with different life experiences.*
13:46 *🔍 Examine implications and consequences of positions to expose contradictions or absurd results (reductio ad absurdum).*
16:35 *🤔 Ask if you have any remaining questions to ensure a comprehensive understanding and maintain epistemic humility.*

Unless you’re a stockbroker following fundamentals, how is your life enhanced by reading or watching a daily dose of negativity? I read somewhere that someone said the news is an acronym for Nothing Educational Worth Seeing.

Nice video - see Jerry Mander's 4 Arguments for the Elimination of Television as a companion piece - he's a former advertising executive who was deeply immersed in the manipulations of such technology; his growing awareness of this led him ultimately to refute his role and work to spread awareness of the properties of these technologies, and how we're positioned in relation to them, to the natural world and our own natures, and in relation to the world we're trying to build and inhabit - most comprehensive vision IMO

Yes, yes, this is all childsplay. I don't even have a phone.
Rather help me to recharge my central nervous system quicker. I didn't have that issue before everyone got vaccinated, but now that everyone is contagious, hitchhiking and the gym are out, which were a great source of serotonin. The workout itself does nothing for me without an audience. So I basically had a perpetuum mobile going. Getting to the gym and being called a machine for lifting like the big guys recharged my central nervous system, which then allowed me to go to the gym again and lift like a machine.
It's not the nutrition, it's not the lack of sleep. I'm not depressed or anything. My life is a fucking fantasy camp, yet I need up to two weeks to be ready to train again, when I had times when I could lift every single day.
From what I've figured out it really seems to be the feeling of success that replenishes the nervous system, because even small things, which I wanted to do for a long time, give me a boost, e.g. I was weak in the morning, went to the office, switched everything from openvpn to wireguard, went home: BOOM! Fully recharged. Or when I finally switched my studio from Arch to Gentoo, I could train for three days straight.
I was hoping uploading would do something for me, but so far nothing. I thought maybe it's just social interaction I'm missing, but that also didn't help. What did help though was my female companion person I had during the lockdown. I guess in the end it always comes down to the bitches, but they are contaminated as well, so I don't see anything happening on that front either. I suspect that might also play into it. Most guys, me not being an exception, lift to get the girls, but now that has become highly unlikely for me, I don't really have a reason to lift anymore. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it greatly and being huge is always fun, but you know I guess my monkey brain has come to the conclusion: Nothing to breed, no need to succeed.
Now I come to you, since it's just funny when a 40 year old dude asks an 18 year old kid for life advice. Seriously though, if you know an easy way to get me high on serotonin again, let me know.

    • @Jan-Linde
      @Jan-Linde 10 месяцев назад

I would cut them out. It will be hard, but your need to imagine how much time of your life you will spend watching anime and what the outcome would be. Like we know, outcome equals input. So you will get an outcome and experinces of life, based on what you are doing. When you just watch anime, than I think that the outcome of that will not be exciting. Just do the math and when you did that, go for an hour walk and think about the result and if this is how you want to spend your time.( Walk without phone and music ).
