I have been making salad dressings for the past 35 years. I have probably made 75 different ones from all the cookbooks I have bought. This first one is so, so simple and tasty. I did use apple cider vinegar and I was happy with the result. But, how simple and inexpensive this was to make! I plan on making the ranch dressing when I purchase Greek yogurt at the store. It looks so easy to make as well! By the way, two other comments. Gourmet salad dressings at the store cost $5.99 and up for a small bottle...and, they aren't always healthy or tasty. I love the mason jar and will look for one like it to buy.
FORK. DUDE❤ THIS RECIPE .. IS SOOOO GOOD OUT OF THIS WORLD AND BACK.ALL THE DRESSING ARE THE BOMB.THANK YOU FOR THIS RECIPES AND HOPE YOU CAN GET 2 MILLION VIEWS.BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 🙏❤ KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO SO WELL 💯 RESPECT FROM CHI-TOWN 😊
I definitely will be making them all but I will start with the Ranch Dressing using Greek Yogurt, only because I have that on hand. Thank You for teaching us your delightful dishes. I love salads and you. Have a great week. XOXOXOX
Hi!!! Love the fact you dedicated the video to share amazing dressings with us! Be waiting for more super ones, because there's always more and great and delicious cooking ideas expected from you. Thank you so much, once again! Best of luck to you and your family🙏♥️
Perfect timing. I love salads dressed with homemade dressings. Warmer weather and soon to open farmers markets with fresh greens go together. Simple ingredients create flavorful dressings. No commercial bottles here.
(Almost) perfect timing. I spent yesterday looking for salad dressing recipes. I don't generally use dressing on my salads, but I like to have dressings available for guests. It can take me 5 - 10 years to use up a bottle of salad dressing (yuck!), so I needed to find dressings that I can whip up on the spot in fairly small quantities. These dressings are perfect and all that I need (plus an old family recipe). I always have these ingredients in my kitchen or garden, so I don't even need to plan ahead. Thanks again for such wonderful recipes.
I am so glad I found your channel. Love your recipes because I have just started eating the Mediterranean way. I feel so much better and your channel is so inspiring.
Your voice sounds so delicious❣️I'm going to look up yogurt to see if migrainers need to stay away from it. That's why I searched and found you. I didn't know we couldn't have buttermilk or balsamic vinegar...or most of the things that are in store-bought salad dressings. Thanks.
Hey man I was recently diagnosed with high cholesterol I just wanna thank you for these dressings I haven’t tried em yet but I bought the ingredients looking forward to trying em, love from Texas
Albert: Delicious! And here I thought that MY salad dressings were great. Yours DO take the flavors to that next level. Como decimos en "eSpánglich" = *_¡Ay qye yámi yámi!_* Thanks again. (Fan from San Francisco, California.) *!!~ PS: Your RUclips videos are my favorite "cookbook."
Hi Albert and family thank you so much for sharing the beautiful 🥗👍❤️ dressings they look so delicious and very tasty @ Spain On A Fork 👍👍😀😀🌹🌹🌹🌹👍👍🥗🥗❤️❤️
You read my mind, Albert. I made a salad yesterday and looked over the plastics jars of dressing in the fridge door… all expired. One two years old…. Ugh… I hate having those things in the fridge. This is much better, and I’m in control of what’s it it this way.
wow! been trying a lot of different dressings over the years and none match the quality or taste of these, honey & mustard my favourite! Thank you great videos.
I've been making my own for years. However, I always enjoy trying something different. Alas, I'm not keen on following recipes. I use them as a starting point and often come up with new favorites. Your posts are frequently inspirational and have led me to some of my best creations. Merci beaucoup mon ami.
Always make my own dressings but had wanted to have some different ones. Think my mistake generally is - not enough olive oil! Might as well get advice from the expert! Thank you so much! Always enjoy your videos- without meat that is !🙂
Thank you so much for these amazingly fresh and healthy salad dressings. I was looking for a great recipe and came to you Chef Albert thanks so much!!❤
Oh yeah, home made salad dressings are sooo much better. Vinaigrettes my favorite year round, but I make a dill recipe that is absolutely the bomb and a roquefort(the best blue cheese IMO). Thank you for the recipes gonna try both the vinaigrettes you did, I love balsamic.
@@Eldeirdro 1 1/4 cup mayo,3/4 cup sour cream,1/3 cup buttermilk(less or more dep on how thick or thin you want) 1/4 cup dry dill(more dill the better, IMHO), 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt, 2 tsp fresh cracked blk pepper, 1 tsp lemon juice, 3 tsp red wine vinegar, 2 tsp lea & perrins. Optional 1-2 tbsp of your fav dill pickle brine. Also onion/ garlic optional(powder or chopped) You can play with ingredients to your preference.
Oh yes, must try all of them. It is now coming into hot season in Las Vegas. Your channel has changed my cooking and eating habit for the better. I had leftover veggies and did a spanish inspired veggie soup a couple of night ago. I am trying to grow a lime tree in a large, decorative pot, my next will be a lemon tree, same in a a large decorative pot. Where are you in Spain?
Just make sure your extra virgin olive oil is unadulterated with seed oils/veg oil. Loads of evoo has been sold/used that will adversely affect your heath. Great recipes!
I make a salad with dinner every night. I’ve been making a creamy Greek feta for a good while (which I enjoy), but sometimes you gotta mix it up. I think I’m going to try the Honey Mustard or Balsamic recipe! 😋 *SHARED*
I just noticed my favorite salad drsg...a lemon oil product put out by Fred Meyer stores....has a bioengineered product added, so I will be making my own now....done it in the past anyway.
I made the honey mustard for a grilled chicken salad.....Yummy!!!! I'm wondering if you have a recipe for a smoked paprika dressing.......I've only found a few.........and I know how much you use smoked paprika!!!!!! Thanks
These look so yummy and just super easy! I was wondering can you omit the oil when making dressings? I am not a huge fan of oil, but I know it's needed to achieve the perfect result in a lot of dishes. If it is possible, what is used as a replacement, or is it absolutely vital to use oil? Thanks once again for bringing us beautiful, tasty, simple recipes! Cheers
Thanks so much for these recipes! Though great just by themselves, minor additions to one or another and you could have a whole pantry shelf full of tasty, healthy dressings. (Now all I need is a dozen or so appropriately sized jars. ;-))
Hello, cool on the salad special, very nice and tasty dressings indeed. I saw you using apple cider vinagre, i live in spain but i never seem to find that. What is it called in Spanish?

So happy to hear that! Much love :)
If we skip fresh ingredients like garlic and parsley, can we store these dressings for longer?
Nothing like a good healthy home made salad dressing.
Yes! Much love :)
Thanks. Sauces and dressings are great cause you can play and see what all they go well with that you already cook regularly.

Much the same as what I make at home. I never use store bought. My favorite vinegar is Spanish sherry.
Lovely recipes!
Tip for making larger quantities: add the olive oil last and slowly while using a stick blender. This emulsifies the ingredients.
I made the honey mustard for a grilled chicken salad.....Yummy!!!! I'm wondering if you have a recipe for a smoked paprika dressing.......I've only found a few.........and I know how much you use smoked paprika!!!!!! Thanks

Thanks for sharing. What can you substitute for the Greek yogurt? Mayo?
Regular yogurt, or kefir, or a blend of cream and sour cream. Dilute as needed. You can probably use a cream and mayonnaise blend too.
Vegan yoghurts work too. Mayonnaise has a lot more fat, so you'd have to tweak the ingredients amounts.
Thanks 😊

Thank you 🙏🏻😊❤️

Hello, cool on the salad special, very nice and tasty dressings indeed. I saw you using apple cider vinagre, i live in spain but i never seem to find that. What is it called in Spanish?
vinagre de sidra de manzana, I picked it up at an organic store in Valencia :) much love
Lovely 🇨🇦
Much love :)
What container are you using?
Hi, how long will this keep for?
Between 4 to 7 days days in the fridge :) much love
Where do you get the jars?
Where can I get that jar?
anything with anchovies?
You can add if you want to.😉
What can you substitute for mustard?
You can use mayo, though the flavor won´t be the same, the texture will be :) Much love
How long can I store it in the fridge?
Up to 4 to 5 days :) Much love
Does anyone have a suggestion for a substitution for the dill in the ranch dressing? Hubs doesn't like dill. Thanks!
You could probably sub out for chive or parsley and it would still be pretty tasty
Coriander?
Yummy
Much love :)
Can I freeze these?
All but the ranch can be frozen, up to 3 months in a freezer-proof container. The ranch cannot be frozen as the texture will change :) Much love
How long do they store for?
From 5 to 7 days :) Much love
Honey to the balsamic?
He didn’t add honey to the balsamic vinaigrette. Or are you saying you’d like to?
