This show did a great job having you feel for Lester in the beginning of the season, even though he had his wife and bully killed. Judging by how bad his wife treated him and how the bully broke his nose, that rage can be understandable. But it’s at this point where you realize whether through trauma or not, how monstrous and unempathetic he really is.
When she asked him "Aren't you tired?" all what he had to say was this: "Well...yeah, I'm pretty tired. We can return to our apartment now." And that's that.
