- Lester Nagaart is just a small town guy who is shy and too submissive. His wife treats him like a beta and constantly criticizes him. When Malvo, an out of town manipulative man meets Lester, he gets him to do things that Lester normally wouldn't do. Lorne Malvo might be one of the most enigmatic villains in a show but you can't take your eyes off of Billy Bob Thornton.

I can totally relate to Lester being the older, yet smaller & unsuccessful brother to Chaz. It’s like most of the confidence is taken away when you see how well the growth hormones work on the 2nd or 3rd child..
We are not just our successes. We have more to offer than just our money or social standing. You probably have a bigger heart and more kind than your brother
@@PopcornRecap that last part could not be more truer said about him.. although when a wounded Erinaceidae falls into his path he won't hesitate to nurture it back to full strength.
I have never felt jealous or less confident because of my younger brother. I'm proud of him when he achieves more than me or beats me in something. Self esteem should come from within not based on other people.
@@Doug_3_ glad you both get along well and rival each other in a healthy way. I wish i could say the same for my brother who’s mainly just obsessed about being jacked (in a non-steroid way), with a meathead persona and slags ppl routinely for looking fat even though he himself weighs at least 15st.

I love it, but he never punched Lester in the face. He motioned like he would and Lester flinched and hit his own face in the window. This series is perfect except for Season 4. A nod to woke culture like everything has to do with race.

I binged all five seasons of Fargo over the course of maybe a month, before catching up and having to wait for the Finale of S5... which was my favorite of them all. But I forgot how good S1 was. It was very, "Fargo The Movie"-adjacent. After that, it veered off to other types of stories.
Season 1 imo is by far the best season of fargo and one of the best seasons of tv ever imo
