For everyone saying it's not Keith, Im pretty sure he is on acoustic but the singer is unmistakably Ry Cooder( with some keith in the background). It makes sense because Ry Cooder played slide guitar on sister morphine which is also on Sticky Fingers
Come on guys - this is not the Stones. I can't believe this is even taken seriously. Edit - this is nothing against the artist performing this cover. Well played and sung. But, why not own it, with your own name?
I don't know boys... It sounds pretty much Kiefff-like from where I'm drinking... and since when is "sloppy and off tempo" a BAD things when playing the blues...?
OK. Folks, this IS NOT THE ROLLING STONES, not Keith Richards, not Mick Jagger, not Mick Taylor, and certainly not Ronnie Wood. This is also NOT A COVER song. This is the ORIGINAL song performed by Mississippi Fred McDowell. The Stones covered HIS song on "Sticky Fingers."

Rolling Stony How do you know their doing the whole Sticky Fingers album? I wanted to see them at Summerfest but didn't find out they were coming until the day after tickets went on sale and they were sold out in a couple minutes I guess.
Hate to piss people off but my wife and I got a much valued private invite to the Fonda theater to see the only playing of the entire album. I was just feet away from watching Keith sit down and play this on a 12 string acoustic. It was nearly unbelievable and I was right there. I actually am shown several times on the dvd. Part of us getting this was to stay quiet a long time. Even some of our close Stones fans had some not very nice questions as to how we had the good luck to be standing in line before the show in a state we didn’t live in. Over the years several perks have come about from being dedicated fans. But it is sometimes difficult to share the details of them because others get angry when we won’t tell them how we managed to acquire them. And now we know some other long time fans who share our good luck, and they have all said the same things about friends getting angry when they tried to tell them that they could not pull strings and magically make these privileges happen for them. I feel awful now when I am asked to make front row seats appear somehow, or where the band stays, or how to get some kind of a close meeting with any of the Stones. One of our Stones friends who was in a similar position as us finally went on her Facebook page and unfriended every person who just wanted her to make miracles happen, and refused to take on anymore because so much of her time was wasted defending herself when she explained she didn’t have that kind of power. Even after being seen in the front row at every show we get a lot of cold questions and accusations. This show was fantastic and seeing the whole album done is not likely to be seen again.
You think ? I think mid 70's was worst...Mick Taylor quits, Keith lost his child ans then he was bust in Toronto for Heroin possesion (and traffic) in 1977, Jagger was heavy on coke on that time...As far as The Stones were good in their 72-73 tour...they were terribly bad in their 75-76 tour cause Jagger (heavily on coke) an Richards (heavily on heroin) were just fucked up. Charlie and Bill saved the face of the band around that time. Evrything became bette in 1978 when Richard stops using Heroin and they released Some Girls album. When I watch a concert of the band in 1972 i see the greatest Rock And Roll band of all time....then I watch a 1975-76 shows, It's a complete different band and sounds terrible you can clearly see that they are totaly lost...but their 1978 tour was pretty good.

"You Gotta Move" was recorded at Muscle Shoals in December of 1969 (right before Altamont). Ry Cooder wasn't at those sessions.

Oh come on! It's 'unmistakably' Mick singing.!!

interesting, the Sticky Fingers version is credited McDowell I think!

um..this is a very known very classic Stones song from "Sticky Fingers" ..around 1969

That's not Keith.
Agreed.
Its Mick T
Keith is on the nod.
It looks like a fake version.
@@Methilde It's not the Stones

The wrong tempo in a blues song is a deal breaker
That doesn't sound like Keith. Even on Let It Bleed's You Got the Silver and Exile's Happy, he had a much higher register to his vocals.
Not Richards. Not Jagger. Not the Stones.
My fave Stones song!
It's a Fred McDowell song.
Dit is geen muziek, dit is kunst
Not the Stones
Would be nice if a keith version exists. Pipe dream.

This is the ORIGINAL song performed by Mississippi Fred McDowell.
The Stones covered HIS song on "Sticky Fingers."
Whoever it is, this most surely ain't Mississippi Fred McDowell.
It's Ry Cooder with Keith. Ry spent a lot of time with Keith showing him slide techniques and open tuning.
Hey Keith, pretty good. Let it rock.

Excellent version, but Mick does it much better.
Don't think it's Mick.
No stones here, but great cover!
Sounds better like the "official released" version
Not really. The guitars production does but Jagger’s vocal delivery and attitude is much better. Much better!
