@MaxChernov First of all, I used to think that Thailand is not attractive for foreign business due to language barrier and cultural difference. Secondly, I consider that the peace of mind is good, but I never carefully think about it until listen about your conversation.

Enrico seems to be a very nice man. He has built a successful life in Thailand, and should be congratulated. It can't be easy to come to a foreign country, start a family and run multiple successful businesses.

Very good explanation of Thailand from an expats point of view. His explanation of learning to be calm and smile instead of raising your voice and arguing , like in the west, makes all the difference in the world. This is probably the biggest mistake most tourists/expats make.

Thailand is neither too expensive nor too cheap. It's Very well balanced, even the culture of Thailand is a tolerant one.

Hi, Max. Japan 🇯🇵 is also among a few other countries that is near 100 % safe. If anyone loses things or accidentally forgot an object, Japanese people would go to all lengths to find and return the lost / forgotten object to the owner.
We had an experience way back in the early 70s when we traveled on Japan’s express train 🚅, the SHINKANSEN, my grandma lost her shoe onto the railroad track upon boarding the train 🚅. The Japanese train station staff go all the way to wait till the train had departed, they then went down to the track and picked up the shoe, catch the next train (hours away), to locate our hotel 🏨 miles and miles away at another prefecture and return the shoe 🥿 to my grandmother.

@11:03 What he mentions is so absolutely true ! There is a constant anxiety of unknowingly or inadvertently breaking laws in Western countries and having to pay heavy fines. There is no freedom.

I worked with an Italian woman for a year who, despite my poor English, was very helpful. But I can feel that aside from appearances and language, we have very similar personalities... and if, as art students, All of us and you are one of the products. of an Italian man named "Silpa Bhirasri" (Corrado Feroci) who was a teacher and laid the foundation for modern Thai art today.

As a fellow Italian, my story is quite similar to Enrico's : In Bangkok since 2012, Thai-Chinese wife, two daughters, two businesses, good quality of life etc etc. However in my case integration and understanding the local culture has been probably a bit more difficult, especially concerning the business and staff management...

Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR only has property tax if you own a property, but other than that, Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR is virtually tax-free, unlike the USA. Everything you buy in 🇺🇸 US is taxed upon !

I am sure that he can. He look probably even more decent than you, and in Thailand he got married with his Thai wife from the middle class family not a bar girl. The perception of "going to Thailand for sex" is very old and outdated fashion, only old people who have never been outside of their countries would think like that.
