Everything was fake after Meeting with Morris and the backup dancers sticking their hands down Skye's throat. In the first film, it is stated that each victim lasts four days to a week. And Morris tells Skye she's running out of time since she's on her third day. The demon prob realized Morris could defeat it, so it ensured Skye was hallucinating from onwards until her performance on stage.
I still think she was actually in the hospital though and the convo with the mom was real until the demon took over ..everything the mom said made sense for her to be saying in Skye’s situation didn’t really sound like the demon was fucking my with her until it obviously started fucking with her ..I think everything from the moment the demon went “I’ve tasted what’s in your head” up until when she got on stage was the fake shit
I don’t think morris was ever real. When she was at the bar I think she was talking to herself like how she was with Gemma but everything after the dancers wasn’t real at all.
@ Morris was real bc he wasn’t reacting to the phone calls bc the phone calls was the demon. Remember first movie the therapist told rose “do you need to get that?” To the phone call and was revealed to be the demon in disguise

So he was definitely real that 1st encounter, and then once it knew that Morris could kill it, it made sure to fuck with Skye even more until the very end. Shii crazy.

- yep Morris was real at the bar, I believe the creature was making those phone calls inside skye’s head cause morris didn’t even react to the buzzing and the other people noticed Morris so that proved he was real there so after skye left creature worked overtime to trap her ass so she’d never contact him again.

This demon is literally on demon time. Half of the time I couldn’t discern what was real or not. It trapped Skye in her own head for nearly the entire movie and no one realized.
Driding so hard like that’s a good thing it’s not rly that genius to waste time doing good scares just to gives the same lazy ass ending from the first movie killing off the main character cs the director is too lazy to write a decent ending😒

Tho there are different degrees of blindness, only a very small amount of blind people truly see nothing, a majority can still see something to some degree so i guess it could theoretically still work on people with most forms of blindness

I fully believe that during the choreography thingy when someone shoves the hand down her troth that is when the demon fully took control. We already know that it messes with preception of time so it might just be more then 3 days already. plus everything after that scene seemed so extra and fake to the point where we see her on stage. That is the only real scene we see from the fans since that moment, cause her mom is still alive. It came out of nowhere, so good!

I'm pretty sure that Morris is actually real. The only time Skye met him was in the bar, and if she had left with him, they could have stopped the demon. But the demon knew Morris was getting through to her and knew it had to get Skye away from him. That's why her phone kept ringing, and then the fans noticed her, started rushing towards her, but none of the fans followed her out of the bar. After that, when Skye went back to her apartment, the demon finally took over her mind and made her see whatever it wanted until it could get her to the concert.
I swear the Smile demon is literally just "What if Sosuke Aizen was a horror monster"

I love Naomi Scott in this! She was incredible! Her performance is one of my favorites all year, it was Oscar worthy! I felt her anxiety and I felt like I was going insane with her. She did a sensational job in her role! I wasn’t expecting to love this film as much as the first one, which I already loved. This sequel is way better than the first one IMO❤✨ thank you so much for watching!!

The monster has multiple parts. I think it had multiple parts split up and then connected later whenever the body died. So a lot of people might just mean more souls can be collected in a week than it would have done jumping from one person to another
I think it'll only have 1 to a few witnesses bc it's only one demon and I think the chosen victims have to have guilt

Did anyone else think the truck that hit Joel was absolutely flying for it being a residential street? It might be because nobody was expecting it, but it seemed like the truck driver was going far too fast. Also, me and Lupa have the same reaction to watching horror movies and the actress who plays Skye did an absolutely amazing job.

Morris I think was real in the first scene. He seemed incredibly panicked to get her to corporate as if that was their last time talking. I think thats why the demon immediately attacked skye after in the apartment because he realized that plan could've actually worked. I think once the smile demon reached his hand, he pretty much possessed what skye thought and heard till she was up on stage so he could become invincible. The psychologic manipulation this demon has over its victims is genuinely the most terrifying demon or curse from any movie or show i've ever seen. I also wonder if they couldve stopped the smile creature by restraining the infected completely so they can't traumatize anyone else.

Smile entity typically kills its host within 4 days of infecting them with the Smile Curse. But Joel is different, he has bared the curse of the smile entity for two days longer than the average victim. The exact number of days varies depending on how long it takes for the entity to break down the host's mind. So Joel probably has strong mindset and also he learned about the Smile entity.
Technically it's a week for someone for like Joel or a normal person that hasn't much trauma in their life because he did say in the first movie no one survived longer than a week.

Monsters in these movies always do their damndest to stay hidden from everyone but their prey….but this demon is more like a virus than a traditional supernatural monster.
I wonder if that will be the downfall in the 3rd movie. The demon wants to spread like a virus, but its control over a victim is partially dependent on them being isolated and unable to be believed or get helped. So my theory for the 3rd movie is that the curse’s desire to spread will conflict with the fact that it needs to stay hidden to effectively spread.
Like maybe the curse will become less powerful once everyone knows about it and people will able to actually overpower the demon’s influence

I saw this in theaters and I was one if three laughing the whole movie, I did jump at one point. But the movie was really good, the effects were amazing.
(Just to clarify I'm used to watching horror movies. But the laughing is something I do when I'm either nervous or scared. But also sometimes when I just find a scene funny)
