    What he also adds in the other video a few years later is that his father and he are still close. His father was still alive then at what must have been around 90 years of age.

    Heard a story from Robert Alex Johnson about using shamanic powers negatively, meaning for the ego. That person is called "Old stone shirt", because he's impermeable and nothing can harm him, deadly. But the only way you can reach him is on those human, tender moments, there you havr the chance to redeem him.

    In America ppl do help others in many ways, like parents, teachers and society will take care of their kids.
    So nobody can harm them. But I noticed no one teach here that their old parents need their help their support, no matter
    What they need your time your money. I heard lot of ppl that they don’t have time for parents. If we have time to have three or four babies and do Sacrifice for them. How come we don’t have time for them who brought us in this world. We should train our kids in schools that parents should be our responsibility like our kids..

    Satsangs do acid? Wht am I missing here?

    • @humanhuman1038
      @humanhuman1038 6 лет назад +2

      Very few , a very few monks or saints use acid like lsd or weed etc. Majority don't like it. Majority use mantra chanting and kirtan songs etc to mesmerize people.

      It helps to read about this particular time in Maharaj-ji's life: The westerners arrived after many experiences with hallucinogens. Ram Dass tells a great story about him,. LSD and Maharaj-ji that's in "Miracles of Love" and other places. (You could probably Google it if interested.)
      Btw, many sadhus of India use chara which is quite powerful, but not hallucinogenic, of course.
      Namaste. 🕉️

    whats with the made up hindi names for westerners? anyone ....BUELLER?

    • @RockSprites
      @RockSprites 3 года назад

      The guru gives you a name to help you realize the archetype you are most closely related to. If you relate to God as your beloved in a playful way, you may be called Radha. If you are more austere you may be called Shiv Das. If you are playful and childlike you may be called Gopala. Etc.

    I'm annoyed at how hard they are laughing.

    • @mortalclown3812
      @mortalclown3812 5 лет назад

      Yes. That's always an enormous problem when devotees gather in love and remembrance.
      In all [desirable] seriousness, Maharaj-ji's heterodox example seems worthy of impromptu levity: The ability to release expectation regarding the reaction of others to confined belief sets could be at play. And please don't think I'm not aware of this as I respond to your response.

    I doubt - If Maharji was a story teller charmer like most of these westerners in him, Ram Daas and numerous others - fell primarily becos of Acid addiction rehab. Sorry but In India most don't worship yogis for their addictions rehab.

    • @hellooutthere8956
      @hellooutthere8956 6 лет назад +5

      Acid is not addicting and obviously they were good enough for this maharji or whoever he is. Do u think truth is to be in bondage in India? How ego maniac.

    • @mortalclown3812
      @mortalclown3812 5 лет назад +5

      Your writing is unclear, but perhaps it's advisable to first research the transformations that occurred in the lives of many of Maharaj-ji's followers: Great organizations in his wake have stopped smallpox in India completely, helped with vision health, fed millions and this is no hyperbole. Plus, the difference between addiction and temporary usage of hallucinogens to expand consciousness is vast, indeed. I'm certainly not implying that his followers were devoid of all self-destructive behavior, but, truly, who then would be in greater need of soul guidance? Again, beneficial to explore the reality of those years and associations before assuming.
      Pax et lux. 🙏📿🕉️🌌

      @mortalclown3812 5 лет назад +2

      PS By all accounts, Maharaj-ji was, indeed, a charmer, but not at all disposed to long-winded tales. His uncanny ability to know the minds, past and even the future of those around him rendered such tellings unnecessary

    Was Maharajji speaking in English ?

    • @mortalclown3812
      @mortalclown3812 5 лет назад +1

      Rarely, if at all. KK Say, who's often mentioned in devotee remembrances, was quite often the translator for the westerners - especially the Baba Ram Dass amigos.
