Whoopsies…😬
🫢At 5:02 I say it’s question 6 but it’s question 7.
🫢At 15:10 I say the answer is “C” Cecil Leeson, but it’s “D” Cecil Leeson. Sorry, I’m a terrible game show host!

"If you got 300, you definitely cheated'🤣🤣🤣
🤣
Oh, man. The "Charlie Parker, wherever you are..." cracked me up. It was the first thing I thought of when "The Muppet Show" came up.
What a great way to start the day- a SAX QUIZ! You're an amazing man, Jamie.
Thanks!
Good morning from Stuttgart 🙋☕🎷
Morning!
Very funny, very original and very entertaining. Great effort. Thanks for your time putting it together.🙂
Thanks. You're welcome!
65,50,45. = 160, struggling on the last round. Great fun for a dismal Sunday morning. Well done!
Great job!
Excellent 😊 What a great quiz. I learnt some stuff. I surprised myself with the score 😊 Since I don’t own a mark 6 I got that particular question wrong 😅
Great job!
round 1: 55 points, three 10pts, 2 misses (my blind choice was among the options both times and made me doubt since technically I was in the running for the 10 pts)
round 2: 45 with three 10 points, 4 misses, not even close on some misses.
round 3: 80 with six 10 points, didn't miss any question, never watched the muppets but guessed it. I blanked on arundo donax despite knowing it.
180 isn't bad I guess.
🙏
Rollins also did ” Neighbours” and i think he just killing it with that solo. So great!!!
👍
195! That was fun!! By the way, you skipped over the Selmer Mark 7 - how rude! haha
🤣
That (squeek!) was fun 😄
Great!
I laughed at the beginning I cried at the end
🙏
That was super fun 😂😂😂 Thanx a lot 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it
202.5 for me. I gave myself 7.5 for the reed question as I got Arno Donax before the choices came up, 2.5 for the Donax bit. I thought Pete Christlieb did the Steely Dan solo or was that another track? Thanks that was a fun quiz.
👍
@colinevans9377 Pete Christlieb played the solo on Deacon Blue, an even more memorable solo in my opinion.
Really nice! I have 65 points for round one. That's OK for me! Without further ado i will go to round 2 and 3.
For the whole quizz I have 170 points. Do I get a bonus for knowing the line 'Forgive me Charlie Parker wherever you are?'
Nice quiz to start the Sunday. Thank you.
Nice work!
175, but I KNEW it was Candy Dulfer but figured Sanborn would've been there as he was a bigger name....and I dig Candy's playing!
😊
A lot of fun!
Cool!
Great quiz. Fun. But FYI the reed name is Arundo donax. The second name in a binomial is not capitalised. Supernerds rule.
Thanks!
Brilliant (different) idea for a video. Was it your idea or Jasmines?🤣
Mine actually. But yeah she could well have.
George cColeman is still alive as far as I can tell, I gave myself 10 for Sonny and George
Yes but he’s not in the great day photo is he? That was the trap that you just fell into. Sorry my friend, nil point on that one 😉
Well, at least I was consistent, 55 each round = 165.
And great fun too, thanks
Great!
170 (60, 45, 70) The hard questions are soooooo hard, but the easy questions are easy.
👍
170 and was about to throw my phone across the room on the classical question. 😂
Please don't throw your phone! 🤣
1) 65 / 2) 55 / 3) 45 = 165
Well played!
I totally got 305 👍
🤥
190….
Hallo from Germany 🎷😃
How many points do I need to be allowed to play the saxophone 🤔😉
None 🤣
charlie parker
👍
😃👍
👍
You mean Baker Street is in Glasgow? Maybe there it but its definitely about London's Baker Street. He wrote the song while in the pub opposite the station The Globe.
Its a bit of a stretch to think he's in a pub on the corner of Baker Street, with a big London Transport sign outside saying Baker Street and whats on his mind is Glasgow!
Also according to a BBC Radio Soul Music program about it, they played a demo he made which included the famous Sax intro phrase but played by Rafferty on guitar, which means Raph wasn't the composer of it but Raf was.
Not that I'm dissing Raph, the song wouldn't have had the impact without that sax intro. Raph never liked it, he said it just sounded out of tune.
Bit dissapointed you didn't ask the questions I knew the answers to........!
Sax soloist on Paul Simon and Billy Joel's records, Sax soloist on Beatles' Lady Madonna....? etc. Still theres always next time, make it an annual event!
Lol.. How many points for a right answer before you read the question? (#1) 😂
Ha! Take 15!
